New to area so trying all different restaurants in Venice. This place is great! Food was wonderful. Great lobster bisque and very fresh yummy house salad. The Shrimp burger was also yummy. But the blueberry almond tart was off the charts delicious and I normally do not like blueberry desserts. Ordered a tart for Christmas dinner. Service was also very good.

Located on the east side of the historic San Marco building on Venice Island, across from the Venice theater, this small boutique French cuisine restaurant is delightful. We had the ham and cheese crepe and the Quiche Lorraine and both were delicious. They also serve excellent coffee and desserts. Lunch prices are modest.

If you have some time and love food, you must eat here! Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. The escargot recipe has been dialed in since last year and I’ve had 6 different fish specials that are COOKED TO PERFECTION, sauced perfectly, and made to order. Haven’t had a bad dish in the 10+ visits. One caveat would be everything is made to order. If you are in a hurry, just set expectations that it will be made when you order it. Highly recommend. Top three restaurants in the county…some visitors may not like the atmosphere…but it is a quaint French cafe that makes some of the best food in town. Period.

Here's an authentic French bistro offering precisely what you'd expect: High quality French cuisine and excellent service in a cozy, bright establishment. We opted for brunch today and enjoyed an array of omelettes, benedicts, quiche, snails, sweetbread, mimosas, and cheesecake. All were absolutely first-rate and served at sensible speed. I can attest that they served the best cheesecake and quiche I've had. The snails smelled amazing. If you've a chance, then explore the building Cote France is housed in for information about KMI, a military school that once was the only establishment present. There's a decent exhibit about it that runs the span of the entire hallway.

Date night and Cote France didn’t disappoint. An absolute gem tucked in at the end of the historic San Marco Hotel. Very quaint, small typical French tables. Our service by Emerald was attentive and friendly. The food was authentically French and delicious! Chef Thomas nailed it! Gonna be back for sure!

Fabulous French cousin. We came hungry and only had main course Filet mignon with peppercorn sauce shiitake mushrooms and mashed potatoes and planche de cheff which included, Duck, Filet mignon and Scallops salad with balsamic reduction, Zucchini flan and mash patatoe. Eva was amazing. Amber also served and explain the meals professionally. We end the evening with crème brûlée and lava cake with vanilla ice cream and cappuccino. It was wonderful new experience for me and my young adult teens. Thank You!

This place has never failed to provide an authentic French dining experience, and Christmas brunch was not an exception! Our server was helpful, upbeat, and attentive. The dining area was clean and spacious. The food was divine! If you're in the area, and want authentic French cuisine, I couldn't recommend a better restaurant!

Great little place. Staff is great, food is fantastic, location is tranquil. We had the baked Camembert for an appetizer. Awesome! Veal chop was on special. Well prepared, but the sides made it shine. The mash potatoes were great but also came with a dynamite vegetable flan.

This cozy French bistro was the perfect spot for lunch in downtown Venice. They have an extensive wine list and casual atmosphere. The escargot was the best I have ever tasted and great with the baguettes. The beef stroganoff special was delicious as was the French onion soup. The service was very good.

We have lived in the area for 8 months and we cannot understand why we didn’t come sooner. From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to enjoy. The atmosphere was pleasant and quaint (like a French cafe) We started with the escargot which were tender and served with a butter garlic sauce was savory and not overpowering. The pate was infused with whole pistachio nut and embellished with an enjoyable house salad. Je me régale The bread is the best I have had in a very long time For the main course we had the lamb chops and seared scallops with risotto The 4 double lamb chops were perfectly seasoned with gremolade crust and rosemary with lemon The seared scallops were served with risotto on an noilly prat sauce We also had the asparagus with were grilled and had a wonderful smoky flavor both meals were L’assaisonnement est parfait. The server was attentive which also added to the very pleasant dining experience We were so full we could not try the dessert. But definitely next time
