Food was hot fresh and delicious, service was fast and attentive. Sat outside, had the bang bang shrimp, sooooo good! Cooked perfect! (Only suggestion would love more sauce on the side, wouldn’t want to drowned those shrimp! That fry was so crispy and perfect the shrimp was still juicy!) Had the lobster rolls, good but my lobster was a bit chewy tbh, fries were crispy and yummy and the onion rings were soooo good!! Hubby said his lobster roll was perfect! Expensive but would definitely go back for shrimp and to try other dishes.

I have been at this place a few times for lunch. They have a cool area outside, which I like. The hamburgers are really good, not salty, which I appreciate. Same with the delicious fries. You can eat without thinking of raising your blood pressure.

I am vacationing in Venice and heard that I had to try the seafood eggs Benedict at Burgundy Square Cafe and I’m so glad I did! Service was friendly and prompt, prices were fair and reflected the quality of the food, and the food was EXCELLENT. You should definitely try the Benedict with the home fries!

First time guest! From the moment we walked in everyone was so friendly! Our waitress Kaitlyn was patient and explained their menu very thoroughly. I had the seafood omelette and it was impeccable! Definitely will be returning very soon!

The breakfast here is out of this world!!! Eggs are always light and fluffy. Pancakes are good size, if you like breakfast sausage with your cakes this place has the best!!!

My husband and I got the lobster rolls. One hot and one cold and they were both AMAZING! We will definitely be back soon. The service was also great even with about a 30 min wait.

One of the better places for quality service. We loved the outdoor ambiance. Onion rings were good for homemade battered. The lobster roll was no joke. Coleslaw was homemade and good as well. Many other things on the menu I want to try, so we will be back (and bring friends).

Love love the shrimp, bacon and spinach salad here, it’s the best salad in town in my opinion!

This was our first time dining at Burgundy Square and it was awesome! We ordered the lobster roll which you can get hot or cold. We ordered one of each. Mine was hot and came with melted butter and French fries. It was delicious!! We also ordered the raspberry iced tea which was also really tasty! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went in the late afternoon which was a good time before the crowd arrived! We will definitely be back! ☆☆☆☆☆

Had an early dinner there when we were coming from Brandon on our way back to Naples. We started with the lobster bomb, which is lobster bisque in a bread bowl. Kind of like the clam chowder bread bowl in San Francisco. It was delicious! And they do not skimp on the lobster. Next we both had the lobster rolls. They were great. And again, they did not skimp on the lobster. It was reasonably priced as well. Finally we had the chocolate cake and it was really good. Glad we stopped by and you should too.

Walking past this restaurant for months finally decided to pop in for breakfast blueberry pancakes were large, hot, plenty of berries…yummy. coffee was just ok… seemed “old” and I like mine much hotter, but that’s me:) the seafood omelet was a truly an omelet. egg wrapped around filling. the only recognized seafood was the shrimp. it was tasty and home fries were good, not overpowered with oil the outside seating pleasant, I’ve included my view in a picture:) staff extremely friendly and attentive bathroom clean. high chair, let’s say I wish I had brought more wipes. (very sticky with obvious food remnants ) needs thorough cleaning. would I return. 4 stars yes.

I had been here years ago and wanted to try it again. I remember really loving it. I love that they have local artists artwork all over the restaurant. I also love their menu options and the vintage collection of salt and pepper shakers. I love that they have an eclectic collection of coffee mugs from the thrift store. I had the veggie omelette with home fries. My sister had the spinach and feta quiche with a side of the “fresh” fruit. The fruit was bad so she returned it and got the home fries instead. I really liked my veggie omelette and ate all of it. My sister didn’t really like her quiche only because the crust was not homemade (it was a frozen store bought), and the feta was overwhelming and made the quiche very salty. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5. I would go again. But there are a lot of places in Venice that I’d like to try for breakfast.

Vicki was my friendly, attentive waitress for my first visit to Burgendy Square Cafe. I was on the island of Venice to explore restaurants. I was very happy with this hidden gem. I had the fish and chips which came with another side. I went with the soup of the day creamy broccoli. I highly recommend. Thanks Vicki

Outstanding food and service! Would give it a 10! Wish we could have made room for the incredible desserts but next time for sure! Grilled Grouper sandwich and Meatloaf sandwich with slaw. So delicious. Coming back soon!
