I have been a regular here for a long time. I think they have the best subs around. The bread is wonderful. Meats are very good! Cookies are really good and good selections of chips friendly staff quick service delivery option is wonderful too. I highly recommend. Also, the prices can’t be beat for the quality that you get! I would say it’s probably my favorite sub shop. Thank you obees!
Whether you call it a sub, hoagie or grinder, there is one important element to a sandwich that will make or break it, and that is the bread. Regardless of the ingredients used for the sandwich, if the bread is of good quality meaning texture, flavor and consistency, the bread will determine the overall quality of the sandwich. Obee's has the science of good bread locked-down, we ordered the Spicy Italian and the regular Italian and both were amazing. The whole sandwich had fresh ingredients and well portioned meats and vegetables. Flavor was great and service was excellent. Obee's is the local place to go get a good meal at an affordable price. They have a great drink and chips selection as well. When in Venice, Obee's will be our a go-to sandwich shop.
What a gem Venice has for subs. Obee's came hifhly recommended after my not so great experience at another sub shop. WOW, inexpensive, a lot of meat, long, soft bread, a lot of vegetables to add to your sub. I have now been twice. I went with the large #3 Italian grinder both times. I highly recommend. Be prepared to wait on line....they are that good. Sorry no pics yet
As a longtime fan of Jersey Mike's, color me super impressed! Very friendly staff.
I got the Italian, and just wow. First time I've had an Italian sandwich that I like better than Jersey Mike's (if only slightly).
My aunt got a seafood salad wrap, loved it! She said the broccoli cheddar soup was also very good.

Best Sandwich shop on planet Earth! And it's usually staffed with young high-school kids who are happy to be there. Never once had a problem with my order or with their staff. They also have an inside dining area. The soups and sandwiches are great! This is a favorite place with locals.
Amazing prices. Delicious sandwiches!! We love the crab salad sandwich. They also sell the crab salad to go in 8oz or 12oz container. The cookies are amazing. The bread is soooooo soft!
My husband had never been to Obee's before and it had been awhile since I was there. We eat out a lot and my husband can be picky about food but I wasn't worried. The food and service was great as always and he wanted to go back again the next day for lunch. We also had leftovers he ate 30 minutes later and still said we should go there again tomorrow!
Very good subs. Friendly staff and a great location in Venice! The bread is delicious:) can’t recommend enough!
As usual, Obee’s on the island 🌴 never disappoints. Where else can you get a freshly made lunch for under $5?!
