A very likeable experience.
The restaurant was well recommended by local folks and it certainly was well worth the visit.
The jalapeño burger in my opinion was fantastic, it was basic but very good indeed. Although the fries were alright, they certainly needed more salt and could have been hotter.
The chocolate milkshake was fairly good.
Although it was fairly silent when I visited, it still took the best part of 20 mins for my order.
This place has been around forever. Not much to look at but the food was great. The chili cheese dog tasted wonderful. Tasted homemade. The specialty ice cream was definitely special. The cheeseburger and onion rings were great too. Will definitely be back.
I am very choosey about the meat in my burgers and this meat taste & texture are like ground chuck very lean & good! Over all it's a good burger!
I only wish they had crispier fries, & or sweet potato fries. Better than Burger Nation & Jims No hate just facts! I love mom & pop businesses!
Really delicious junk food. The cheeseburgers and fries are really good and they also offer great shakes and ice creams. They used to have a good chopped bbq bun but I don’t know if they do anymore. It gets fairly busy here and their parking lot is kinda small, but I heard they might be opening a new location in town.
I haven't eaten at Dairy Treet in a long time. As a kid, it was a welcome sight because there was always ice cream involved. On this trip I had the jalapeno burger, fries and sweet tea. Everything was delicious and I will be back!
It’s the best burger in town, it’s just a little greasy! But service is great! It doesn’t take too long to wait.
Great old fashioned burger drive in. Burger patties ground fresh daily. So it's a standard old fashion burger, 1/4 patty most likely or a little under. Mayo on the sweeter side, lettuce onions and tomatoe; perfect. Wife had a regular cheese burger and a corn dog. Corn dogs appear to be made fresh, nice crispy and golden brown. All the burgers had a double meat option if you want a bigger burger. I'd suggest pickles with a double patty to balance the sweetness of the mayo if you are going the mayo route; and you should. The surprise here was the syrak burger. I was thinking it was a chopped steak patty, it is not. It's a ground steak patty the has a light crispy batter. Very much like a country fried steak. Not overly greasy at all. What I really wanted was a chopped steak burger but I was pleasantly surprised by this. It was really good, and it's pretty big. Great deal at a little over 4 bucks.this is a great little burger shack and everything is as you would expect. Friendly and quick service with a window you walk up to, but limited parking.
Born and raised in Victoria. I have never found a place anywhere that has a better burger. Whenever I roll into V town to visit family it’s a must stop! And also the food quality hasn’t changed IMO.
We’ve been eating here since the late 1950’s. Still good!!
Sweetest young ladies working there and the food is old fashion homemade perfection
We used to be regulars. For half a century+, but COVID, etc. took it's toll. We haven't been back in a year or two because the shrimp plates went from $8 to $16, virtually overnight. We were upset, but now we've just moved on.
my 40 year favorite best burger place. the service is "legendary". But we still drive 90 minutes. Thanks Craig for continuing the burger and malt tradition from the Tolberts. And thanks for changing the default soft crinkle cut fries to crispy. lol Thanks for the new location and look forward to one in Rockport.
This is the original Dairy Treet location. Food is easily among the best in town. I left a review on the other location, so I'll echo my sentiments here. The steak fingers are the best you're going to get anywhere. They're out of this world. If you're in Victoria and need to pick one place to eat, make it this one.
