Great location for a quick work trip. Got to have my first DoubleTree gluten free cookie and it did not disappoint!! My room was ready early and cleaned to perfection. Bed was super comfortable, great shower pressure… felt right at home!
We were in DC for a meeting, and it was a great location. There are two malls directly across the street and a lot of dinning options in the area. The Metro is across the street at the mall as well and is part of the Silver line. The restaurant in the hotel is fine, the menu was not much to our liking but OK in a pinch. The main guy working the night we went was great! The hotel staff was very friendly and very responsive, we will definitely stay again when back in the area. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the hotel on this trip.
On our trip to the Washington DC area for Tony's 61st Birthday, we stayed at the Double Tree Inn by Hilton.
This was a very lovely hotel located near many shopping and dining options. Tony and I enjoyed our $34 bar/restaurant credit because we are Diamond Hilton Honor members.
Lots of parking! Great friendly staff! The bartender was so friendly and helpful. There is a great bar and restaurant on site. We enjoyed the outside seating patio.
Definitely recommend and definitely will stay again if and when in the area.
Really good hotel. Breakfast is also good. The staff guy on the breakfast Safet is really nice and welcoming person. All staff on front desk are polite and ready to help with anything. Worth staying and staff treat you very good there. Thank you
Really nice place. With Hilton Honors app you just walk in and walk out. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I’m a bitter old man. Stayed there one night to be near the office. Checked out and then found out the person I needed to meet with called in sick. So I needed to stay another night and the price shot up. Not their fault. I tried to get them to cut me a break and they did a little. Just wasn’t deep enough.
Breakfast was really good. And they have a hotel restaurant/pub. I just stuck my head in when I arrive and it was jumping.
Location was great for what we needed. Rooms were normal hotel rooms, nothing super special but clean and nice. Service was excellent, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Elevator situation was slightly annoying. We had to walk to the opposite side of the hotel to use an elevator over there.
Easy check-in with hot cookies. Clean, spacious room. Easy walking distance to shopping and entertainment options. $10 to park overnight. Breakfast buffet has solid options.
In town for the circus. Lol

-Conveniently located across the street from the Cirque de Soleil big top. Making it a short walk to the show.
- Visually appealing inside and out, clean lobby and rooms
- Great water pressure and water temp for the shower.
- Rooms are a cozy size
- Staff was nice and personable
- Parking in the garage
Cons:
- Street noise was loud throughout the day and night
- Beds were uncomfortable
- No microwave in rooms
- No menus for restaurant in rooms
- Cookies at check-in were warm :/
- Digital key option wasn't working
My husband and I were significantly happy with our stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful from the check-in experience and throughout our stay. The Breakfast Cafe and Tavern restaurants they offered on property were convenient and offered great options. The service and food was delicious at both! The Market also had plenty of options for snacks, drinks, a Starbucks espresso machine, sweets, travel-size items, a water-refill station and so much more! Highly recommend the stay! There are two Metro stations conveniently nearby the hotel too (within a 10min walk) making getting into DC for sightseeing simple without having to transfer to put you at the center of the National Mall.
Perfect location, especially if you’re visiting Wolf Trap. Felt welcomed from the minute we stepped in the door. Parking is very convenient and affordable, especially considering you’re just outside DC. Basic rooms, but very spacious. Breakfast in the on-site cafe was very tasty.
I look for the best deals on hotels but this hotel made me a believer to spend the extra money on a upgrade. The people working the breakfast were amazing. Their gestures and service really made me and everyone around feel welcome. I wish them well.
Stayed here to see a show at Wolf Trap. The front desk staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I was upgraded and there was a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and a sofa in the room, it was a deluxe king. The linens were crisp and clean. The only thing I regret was declining the offer of a chocolate chip cookie upon checking in, apparently it’s a thing Double Tree does but I wasn’t aware and thought I’d be charged. The staff should offer a “complimentary cookie”. I’d stay here again.

The Front Desk Staff that I have chatted with over the phone and at the Desk Counter and are so professional and courteous. I've been to many Hotels but they All have a Special added touch in their service to Customers. I'm so well pleased at how they make sure you know everything and answer your questions and concerns.
When it goes to the Food Service the Service I had did Not check on me to see how my meal was or if I needed anything else. I was Not pleased with my choice of selection of entree. It was something with Chicken Cheese Bacon Melt. The bread was extremely hard and crusty black around the edges. I had to tear the edges off and still then the food was Not tasty because the sandwich was cold and I had ti eat it because it was too late to make a change. When I called the Waiter over and explained the situation he replied "that's how this sandwich is supposed to be prepared." 😄🤔 If I wanted a lukewarm sandwich and hard burnt bread that would've be fine but No Indeed. I do plan to speak with the Dining Mgr. of my concerns today. I was displeased with my meal except for French Fries that was very hot for the most part and cooked well.
