I am doing this aside from my food blog because I live in this area….This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Vienna area. I’ve tried the trendy places in Mosaic ($$/bad parking), and some of the regular Vienna spots like LG and CV… they’re all good but they feel robotic and all about business. But this place just gives me a feeling to come back, that family mom and pop feel, a brick and mortar vibe which my whole family loves. The staff and owners just have that take-care-of-your-family-first charm. Make sure to order their house spicy oil on the side, gives a great flavor any dish (even when I’m cooking on my own).
Overall the food was good, and probably the best we’ve had so far in the area. Chicken was cooked well but the fried rice was not that great. Prices weren’t bad either and they had good deals. The young gentleman who took my order however did seem to be very short and not as helpful as he’d could have been, but the older gentleman was very nice and welcoming and even offered me a seat to wait for my order.
Great neighborhood place. Consistently good food. An especially good value at lunch!
The owner lady is just amazing person. She is so caring and courteous. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. We got there 15 minutes before closing yet we got fresh food. I would like to acknowledge the entire team at this restaurant for their highest level of professionalism.
I live right next door and they’re on of the staples of my restaurant rotation! Food is consistently ready in 10-15 minutes for take out, portion size is great bang for your buck(one entree can easily be dinner and leftovers), and it’s always hot and tasty. They also do an awesome job with Covid safety regulations which I pick up!
Food was excellent. Service is fast. The waiter was very attentive. Kept our water glasses full and tea pot full. Manager stopped by to check on our service. We've never had a bad dinner there.
ordered for lunch and was suprised to find my food ready on time and not only that food was so delicious. The lady who checked me out was very friendly as well. definatly making this one of my go to places for lunch.
such wonderful service and delicious food! I finally found a restaurant that serves Sesame Tofu, and I couldn't be more happy...and everyone is always so genuinely kind when I stop in. definitely recommend!

Perhaps the best Chinese Food I've ever eaten. Hunan Delight has a beautiful dining room where you can enjoy great food in a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere. Of course they do takeout and delivery but being able to sit in a restaurant with your family and friends and order all your favorites like Lo Mein, General's Chicken, Beef Broccoli served on real plates is a super treat.
