I ate there this morning. Had the mess. Scrambled Eggs,Sausage. Ham, bacon and Cheese. With country potatoes/ Pretty good. I'll go back, its hard to find a good breakfast around here.
It has a really great atmosphere and everyone is so helpful.
The food is all home made including the salad dressing.
Everyone should try DOT'S.
It was good considering it was lunchtime and they were busy. First time I had been here for a few years. Food didn't seem to be as good as it used to be. But the onion straws are still the best.
Has been in business a long time and I just remembered they had breakfast. They have the best biscuits and gravy and love their French toast just like I grew up on. Only open during the week some breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is only served a limited time in the morning. Well worth getting up early for a great breakfast. Staff is super friendly and service is quick. A must try.
I was there with my 3 best friends for lunch. They all had the lunch special - chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, grean beans and bread - while I had the grilled tenderloin sandwich which was served with choice of French Fries or chips. We also had the Onion straws for the table. There were no complaints from any of the noodle eaters. My sandwich was very good, tasty and well cooked. The atmosphere was pleasant, service good - all in all I'd definitely go back.

Food is good for the price ya pay an you get your money's worth, an the service is outstanding.
I've eaten at Dot's several times through the years and the food has always been spot-on. They recently renovated their entire kitchen so everything is fresh and new. Great breakfast menu, great lunch menu. They also have plate lunch specials on Monday (Beef Manhattan + Side Salad),Tuesday (Chicken n' Noodles + Green Beans), Wednesday (Meatloaf + Buttered Corn). Great service. Tables are socially distanced. Very clean. Dot's in Downtown Vincennes - Since 1981.
