Great Casino fun and close to Texas. Customer service is usually great at these places and our stay did not disappoint. The wait staff on the casino floor was attentive and quick. The tables were open and staffed and the slots were all operational for the most part. They also had sanitation stations around the casino in case you needed one. The best part is the variety of restaurants on location due to the property being owned by Landrys.
If you like the casino atmosphere and some shopping thrown in, this is a great one to visit! There are tons options for gambling and the games seemed to be nearly all in working order… it was not overly crowded for a weekend. There are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from, some better than others. Overall a fun place to spend the weekend. We attended a concert as well and the seating was great as well.
Excellent casino. A bit smoky in the gaming area. We brought trash bags for our smelly clothing after playing. Be prepared for $$$$$ for any food or drinks. There is a resort fee on top of room charge, ask the right questions! BUSY on the weekends. Not sure why housekeeping left new towels but did not make beds, empty trash. Non smoking room had loads of cigarette butts on balcony, would be nicer not to see that. All staff very friendly and super helpful. You will have a great time here!
Really nice getaway spot for some adult fun and good restaurants. The rooms are really big and nice too. We asked for an upgrade since we went for our anniversary and they gave us a really nice view and a balcony. The casino is clean and they come around with free drinks every so often. We went to the pool and around the lazy River a few times which was lovely. They provide tubes a d towels. There's a bar and prob food there too but we didn't go there. We ate at the outdoor burger joint on the lake beach. The burgers were amazing. We threw a football with some randos and there was people playing volleyball too. Rooms are much less during the week. It gets crowded but not too bad.
We loved it.
My husband I call this place the Bayou Vegas. Honestly you can’t beat it. It’s so close to Houston (just a quick 2 hour car ride) and there’s plenty to do. Whether you take a trip to the spa or play a round of golf, there’s much more to do than just sit in the casino. The food is also fabulous and there are plenty of options for dining inside the casino. Pro-tip, definitely make a reservation if you can on the weekends otherwise you might find yourself waiting over an hour. The rooms are great, the staff is exceptional and always friendly. I definitely recommend making the trip out to the casino.
Had the best massage at the spa. The restaurants are all great --- lots of variety of food --- and the rooms are nice. The pool area is so pretty and fun. The casino itself has all the games you'd want, as well as shops, concerts, and comedy shows. Self parking is pretty convenient too.
