Me and my wife love this place. The atmosphere, food, and drink are top notch yet it's very casual. Our all time favorite go to place for lunch, dinner, or just a drink. The bay views are spectacular Year round.
The food was fantastic, the scenery and sunset couldn't be better from this location and the drinks were spot on. The sangria is made with a dry red just a heads up for those folks that like a sweeter sangria � still amazing.
We wanted a place by the water to take my parents to while they were visiting. A little windy outside but the view is amazing. Tyler was our waiter, very friendly and fun, made our visit even better. We enjoyed a good meal, every one was happy with what they ordered. Can't wait to go back.
We got the seafood nachos and oyster basket for starters. The nachos are out of this world and a meal in itself. Maybe could’ve used a little more salsa , but awesome! Got stuffed flounder and crab cake for meal. Flounder wasn’t all the way cooked , but the server took it back without any hesitation. All we wanted was for it to be cooked more, but they made a whole new one 👍👏. And took it off our bill. Great customer service from the hostess to the bill! Always look forward to coming back! Wow...didn't know you all have live music on Friday and Saturday nights! My friend and I were here last week for an early dinner. Our waitress, Leah, and her friend and fellow waitress, Brooke, were awesome! Can't beat the food either. We each had the Seafood Mac and Cheese and shared an appetizer of the Bacon and Bleu Cheese Bay Chips. Oh yes...I can see my hubby and I enjoying the beach, great music, great food, and a glass of wine out here in the summertime!
Friendly staff, great place just to go to relax and have a drink at the beach. Also, the deck, great for the family, grab a bite to eat, watch the boats go by :)
Delicious food especially the seafood nachos & seafood omelet , the drinks a good, staff is pleasant & the view is lovely. Very reasonable $$ Not a single complaint

We got the bacon and blue cheese bay chips, they were delicious! Then we got the bourbon glaze salmon and fried flounder. Unfortunately both were rather bland. Atmosphere is great, especially being on the beach! I'd definitely recommend. Just make sure you order what you know you'll like!
Great little seafood place right on the beach! Great service and even better food! I recommend the buoy nachos, bacon wrapped scallops (the mango salsa is to die for), seared tuna bites, and fish tacos. Don't forget to top it off with one of their signature crushes! Delish!
Fried oysters, awesome. Bourbon glazed salmon, awesome. My son had the crab cakes and they were supposedly awesome. Our waitress, Abbie, was also really awesome and really attentive.
The food they do serve is pretty good. They are missing a few bare basics off of the menu like mozzarella sticks and maybe loaded fries. They have such a great staff and awesome atmosphere. It is a very pretty and clean restaurant. Wish they had a few more choices on the menu like baked clams and a tuna steak. All in all, it's a very cool spot to check out. Even their valet team are all so friendly and nice!!
I've been coming here for a few years and after being out of the area for a while I visited again and it's nice to see that nothing has changed. The food is still exceptional and the atmosphere is outstanding. It's the perfect place for a casual meal with a view of the Chesapeake Bay. The service is great and the price is very competitive. It's roomy with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Most people wouldn't even know it was there because it's nestled in a residential area. I love their fish tacos and their fried pickle appetizers. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
What a great place to get off the beach and take a break. Come for the food, stay for the view. Cool spot just dd the beach with fresh sea food and cold beer.
Indoor or outdoor dining gives options for your sun soaking level. Friendly staff and yummy food make sharing a plate of seafood nachos worth the visit.
Buoy 44 was delish! The only reason I’m not giving the food a 5 star is because they need to use better bread for the crab cake sandwich. Crab cake was tasty and had lots of crab. I always go for a broiled crab cake. The homemade chips were also great!

We stopped at buoy 44 for lunch and had an amazing experience. Valet parking is convenient; sitting outside was lovely; food was yummy and the service was pretty good too.
I was bummed they were out of blackened salmon but we still loved our shrimp tacos and Baja fish (mahi) tacos.
This is a really nice local pub on the beach. I sat at the bar and had great service from Madyson (yes its with a y not an i). The drinks were on point and the Madyson knew what to recommend. I had the crab cake with fries and cabbage. I recommend it... I also had a spicy margarita which she put in a real glass and it was very good. If you like spice that is...
Although it was a rainy day, I enjoyed inside dining, but can't wait to hit that patio looking out at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Had a friendly server and started with the Buoy Nachos with shrimp, crab and some other great flavors!! Followed with crab cakes, salmon tacos, and flounder BLT!! My flounder was delicious and those NACHOS were soooo good!! I used my house-made chips to scoop the remaining nacho mixture!

The food here was absolutely amazing. Everything was prepared perfectly and the taste was great. Our server Sara S was absolutely delightful and took great care of us. For my first time in the area, when I come back this will definitely be on my list to hit up.
This was a last-minute stop after hitting traffic on the bridge.
We are extremely happy with the service and the food.
Definitely recommend the Flounder BLT with the chips.
Ordered the shrimp nachos from the appetizers menu. Glad I didn't order a main course meal. These were the best nachos to date from the area, the layers were good and you didn't end up with a mushy layer of chips at the bottom. It is a part cold part hot nachos and the blend of spices and ingredients was well done!
Also staff was pleasant and food came quick. Jack and coke on the rocks was very good and as long as you are seated and ordered well before 6pm you'll have a great time. As we left shortly after 6pm it was very busy and I'm sure food would of taken longer and that is understandable.
Very much recommended, be sure to have cash on you to tip the valet.
Update: 14APR2023 tried more food and the blue cheese chips on the appetizers menu was so delicious and I had shrimp tacos very good, I've had the 44 burger very delicious as well. Family has had other dishes and we all keep trying other dishes very good place to eat! A must re-visit if you go once.
The 44 burger (crabcake added) with sweet potato fries was so good I didn't leave anything on my plate. Delicious. My husband had the chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes. We also had long Island iced teas. Everything was good but to be honest the reason I gave 5 stars was because we had a phenomenal waitress. Her name is Alley. She was super sweet and attentive. Very nice to talk to and made sure we were well taken care of. So if you go here ask for Alley with the purple hair (there are two waitresses by the same name) and tip her well. 😉 The atmosphere was nice especially by the water. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful day. Highly recommend! I can't wait to go back some other time at night time.
The view was great and the food was really, really good. We had the tuna appetizer with seaweed salad, on point. Fish tacos are great and the flounder is good. House chips slap.
Easily seen from the Chesapeake Bay and beach 🤣. Hidden gem located in Chic Beach. Very clean and maintained facility. Nice relaxing environment. Great for small or group gathering. All - Adults and kids would enjoy. Outside and indoor dining available. Great view of the bay and beach. Food portions are generous. Enjoyed our food and can't wait to go back and try the buoy nachos. The homemade chips is must. They should sell the homemade chips in bags to go, because they are that good. Service and staff are friendly and on their game. Tip well people!!!! Valet available and highly recommend because parking is limited in this area.

The BEST location for a restaurant in the 757. Right on the beach, sunsets here are amazing. GREAT FOOD AND FRIENDLY SERVICE TEAM. Bartender Harvest is perfect and her positive energy is refreshing. WILL BE RETURNING SOON!
