Mi Casita is my favorite restaurant for the last ten years. The friendly people, delicious food and awesome margaritas make this my first and favorite choice to take my wife to eat.
Fajitas were amazing great portion sizes & Mango Margaritas had me Litty & customer Service was everything ���������������
Doesn't look like much on the outside but it's actually a great place. Clean and nicely decorated. Loved everything I ate and my mango margarita. Service was great, as well. No complaints here. Will definitely be going back.
I was very surprised and deeply impressed by the exceptional food. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I know in Virginia Beach. I will definitely recommend to my friends to go there!

Above and beyond amazing! You have my permission to stop reading reviews and come eat. Ask for Joshua, he's very kind. Get the hot salsa if that's your thing. Truly, they have the best food I had in Virginia and I've been here eating out most days for weeks.
I couldn't be more impressed. This place is amazing across the board from food to service. I've been to several high-end restaurants, and our waiter gave us that type of experience. He is definitely on another level. His name Joagmil. Ask for him, and he will impress you, I'm sure.
I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our takeout from here. We ordered the Ay Chihuahua Burrito, and holy smokes!!! This burrito was larger than my boyfriend's head, but somehow he still managed to eat the whole thing because it was so delicious (ok he says we shared it because he gave me one bite, but imo that does not count 🤣🤣). My cheese enchiladas were incredible, and I really liked the flavor of the salsa verde. This was our first time here, and we look forward to trying more dishes and maybe dining in next time as the inside is gorgeous. Definitely recommend!

Our server was Olga! Have had her twice now, super sweet. We ordered the seafood dip, amazing, fresh guacamole is the better one out of the 2, the lunch lime margaritas are on point! Had the menudo too, super good! Must come here, ask for Olga. Also had the mango and peach margaritas, fantastic.

Enjoyed my time here very much. Service was patient and professional. Didn't feel rushed. Food was absolutely incredible.

Both exceeded our expectations and presentation was beautiful.
The food is delicious, large selection on menu, and good sized portions. The staff is friendly and attentive without over doing it. Mi Casita on Bonney Rd is well worth the effort to go there.
Stopped here for lunch on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. The lunch portions are huge...I got a chicken quesadilla and it was delicious. Lime margaritas are strong and won't disappoint if you want to feel the effects of tequila. Plus, Alberto our server was absolutely fantastic and very attentive to my table. Service was great and the atmosphere was an authentic vibe...if you're feeling Mexican food stop here, you'll love it.

Me and my wife Joy would like to thank Enrique Lopez Palomino for providing an awesome dining experience as we celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. The food and service was top of the line, and we will be returning for many more occasions to come.
We would be regulars here if they were closer to us. The salsa dip flavor was one of the best around, however it's changed and has become soupy. The flavor is still there but now it's really messy to scoop. It's like they pureed it down so it's no longer chunky, this way you cannot devour it up and ask for more as quickly keeping the cost down. Whatever the difference watch out for your clothes while eating this. Didn't use to be that way.
If it wasn't for that I'd give a 5.
Otherwise they have a broader option of authentic mexican food that's not Americanized.

Very laid back quiet spot during my visit. I got a taco salad, and my bestie got the muenudo- (which was very awesome for them to be willing to make as the menu had it listed as weekends only), we split a bean dip, and a xango & ice cream. All were tasty and prepared fresh.
There was a minor issue with the red salsa brought out with the chips that we didn't talk to the restaurant about. When she dipped into it, she found she had biten into what she took for a cactus quill... So she tried to order some cactus, only to have the waitress come back from the kitchen to tell her after taking the order that they were out of it.
Be prepared, the menu prices on the website are out of date. I've no doubt the raised prices are a result of the way the world is at this time. There are several items marked off the menu with tape as well likely because of the same.
I will return in the future.
I’ve been coming here for years. My husband and I absolutely love it! Excellent prices for delicious food. I’ve been to other Mexican restaurants in the 757 and have been very disappointed but I can always count on a great experience at Mi Casita. Their carne asada tacos with the house sauce are the best.
I order from DoorDash to get their food prob once/twice a month. The food never disappoints. It’s soo good. Def want to try and eat in. This place in my opinion has the best Mexican in VB
As we were eating we had a special guest the roach ,so watch y’all surroundings other then that food good & service excellent
Went to the restaurant and had a beef and pork burrito. The staff was friendly and the food came out quick and was delicious. I highly recommend this establishment.
This just might be the BEST Mexican Restaurant in Virginia Beach! I’ve bypassed this location too many times to count only to say I’d try it out one of these days. Well ladies & gents, today was one of those days and they did not disappoint. I’ll be back REAL soon!!!
Having recently returned from Southern California / Mexico I was reminded of just how "watered down" and bland Americans version of Latin food really is. Still, I think this facility and staff are adequate in representing a flavorful version of that delicious fare.
