Great meal, service, and cocktails! Tiffany was our waitress, and she was fabulous. After having horrible service and food down the boardwalk at Johnny Mananas - we were a little reluctant to eat on the strip again. Glad we did! We had shrimp tacos, crab cakes, side salad, and rice. good food - highly recommend!
The food was good, French fries were great! Our waitress checked on us many times and the hostess was sweet! Happy hour is good here, too!
A huge amount of food with the friendliest service you could have. Definitely will come here every trip we make!!!
Verry delicious food loved the outdoor patio near the beach the boneless wings were delicious too
Great service!!! Our waitress Ashley for lunch did a great job. Was new but knew the menu and took great care of us.
Had the Mac and cheese, which was very good. The bartender was very nice.
Been here to eat breakfast and dinner for the past 5 days....and I can say they have earned all 5 stars...very satisfied..manager and staff as well...
Awesome lunch! Thanks Executive Chef Shawn!! We will definitely be back.
Very nice place with a nice view. Very good food as well. Delicious grilled shrimp tacos, the best I’ve had in a while. Fish burger was good as well, and the fries were also delicious. I’m usually not a dessert person, but the key lime cheesecake was really good. They also have a great drinks selection. The staff was very sweet and friendly as well.
This restaurant was a solid 4 stars. The ambiance was lovely (there were no tables available outside because they only have a few, so we had to sit inside), but we didn't mind. The frozen drinks were tasty, our waitress was lovely, and the peanut butter dessert was one of the best we've ever had. For dinner I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. I was expecting more for a $17 entree. It came with 3 soft tacos, each stuffed with only (I believe) 4 small pieces of shrimp (aside from mango and veg). No side of rice or anything to go with it. Tasted fine, but couldn't really justify the price. Spouse ordered a burger and seemed to enjoy it.
Very clean and well kept restaurant in Holiday Inn Oceanside 21st. St. Excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choices including freshly baked croissants, bread, and scones. Warm and tasty eggs, waffles, chicken biscuits. Thick cut crispy bacon and breakfast potatoes make a great side. Fresh fruit, cereals, muffins, bagels, and pastries. Very courteous and attentive staff. This is my first stop every morning during my stay. Highly recommended! Price of buffet is $17 and change after tax.
The food was delicious! The entire experience was great thanks to the servers (Mya, Mia, Belle), bartender (MJ), the restaurant supervisor (Javar) and wonderful Chef Dave! Their friendly personalities and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our meal choices was refreshing.
We loved everything!
Our dinner was perfect, nice smiling faces, service was friendly and helpful.
We were on the terrace so had beautiful ocean view. Atmosphere was amazing.
We enjoyed food as well, my order was -
Taco with shrimps and Quesadilla with chicken. For my son ordered grilled chicken and mash potato on the side.
I liked our dinner, it was delicious.
Would like to come back ❤️
Cozy, clean, and comfortable restaurant inside of the Holiday Inn. Service was lovely and the food and atmosphere was lovely, an excellent view of the beach from both inside and outside. We ate inside because of the heat, it was very comfortable!
One of the best surf and turf's I have ever had! There is also a bar with good company it seemed. And the restaurant even at night is very kid-friendly they treated my daughter like a princess. 🙏🏼🤗
We have been eating breakfast here almost everyday during our stay and today we also had lunch. The food is decent. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone from eggs that you can top with cheese, fresh salsa and your own individual tiny hot sauce to biscuits and gravy to fresh fruit and delicious buttery croissants. From the lunch menu the kids meals are a good size and they also come with a frozen treat. I had the fried fish sandwich and it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The food is good but the people that work here are amazing. We have experienced great customer service from every employee we have interacted with this week. Greetings and friendly smiles but our server Deborah has gone above and beyond. First she remembered our faces from previous days and welcomed us back to the restaurant and made us feel at home. Secondly she has taken the time to engage with the kids and even explained to them how to tell the difference between the adult and the dolphin calves as we where able to see them today from the restaurant as well as from our room. Thank you for taking the time!
This place is AWESOME with bartender Tray (a female so you know). I don't drink much but because I was on vacation, I asked for her recommendations. SHE DIDN'T DISAPPOINT!!! All 3 of the drinks she recommended (1 being a secret recipe!!!) were wonderful!!! The secret recipe was like applesauce or apple cider - it was delicious!!!
As for the food, while the lunch/dinner menu is small, what we got was superb!!! The chicken quesadilla was really good and of course we ate it with sour cream and salsa. The Mexican fried shrimp was a really unique item that tasted awesome! We highly recommend it!!! The pound of shrimp also tasted good, with old bay and cocktail sauce. It was the usual great stuff. Tasted fresh and on point.
Last but not least, the all you can eat breakfast buffet from this restaurant is really great too!!!! $15 per person, but we got it for free because of our hotel rewards status.
Add to that the fact that you get a discount if you are staying in the hotel where the restaurant is located, and you have a super great deal!! See the receipt for the discount.
I was also impressed by the size of their napkins! Again, please see the picture where you you can see the size of the take out box and the size of the napkins!! You can use that thing as a bib if you are a messy eater or if you're like me and just appreciate large quality napkins!!!!
Excellent service and polite staff. We dined here a couple of times and had multiple breakfasts during our stay at the Holiday Inn.
They have an outdoor and indoor sections. They have a bar area also.
The whole restaurant is themed after legendary author and novelist Ernest Hemingway with different portraits and quotes on the walls. The whole place looks like an ocean with a boat hanging from above featuring an old fisherman. The interior design also gets a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my books!
Only thing I think will improve this place is by adding a few fresh sea food options. Other than that it’s an excellent restaurant!
Amazing place to grab a drink or two! They had some crazy special on beer that night. Ask the staff they will fill you in!
We will be back soon.
Nice spot with beautiful outdoor seating. Service was slow but I believe the waitress was overwhelmed.
My wife loved her fish sandwich, said it was the best she’s had. My salad was good but my chicken wrap was awful, the chicken was hard and I couldn't even chew it. I feel like it was precooked and then overcooked when reheating. The manager was nice enough to comp my dessert after she checked in on us and I mentioned it. I know mistakes happen I appreciate how they handled it.
The desserts were very good as well.
I would go again.
Our waitress was really sweet and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious!
Have eaten here for breakfast and dinner several times during my stay at the HIE. The food tasted great and came out fast. I recommend the fried-fish tacos over grilled-shrimp tacos. I have seen a wide variety of beverages, food, and desserts at other tables. I have also selected their breakfast buffet, consisting of your hotel staples plus fresh fruit. The atmosphere is lively, with music and time-appropriate lighting. The dining area is always clean and comfortable. The decor has a very sea-side-pier motif with a beach-front view of the Atlantic Ocean. The personnel are very welcoming and attentive.
Great for a light dinner. It was a friendly experience. I loved the decorations, plenty to look at while waiting for food. The service was fantastic, we had a very nice waitresss named Frenchie and I hope someone gives her a raise. The fish tacos were delectable, I wish I could get them again.
While staying at the Holiday Inn we came down one night for a late bite and a drink. Cute little bar with a creepy guy fishing in a boat above ya. Bartender was solid, great guy. Ordered one of their pepperoni Flatbread. It was a bit to soft.. doughy for my taste, I prefer a nice crispy crust, this was not it, but other than that it was OK. I don't "drink" so I was a little perturbed that they charged me full price for a virgin daiquiri. Gave me some reason, but I call BS on that.. come on guys really!? Believe this is where you get your breakfast staying in the hotel. They have outdoor seating right on the boardwalk. Enjoyed my time here, would come back.
Breakfast was great. Meaning, there weren’t many varieties of foods but the taste was good for each. Just wished there were more foods. Dinner was awesome. The mac & cheese and shrimp blowed up my mind. It was fantastic. Chicken wings were good, too. In my opinion, I liked dinner more.😋
The breakfast was amazingly good. The staff came to our table frequently to ensure there was nothing we needed. There were options for kids and adults alike. Everyone wore masks which I really appreciated. I simply had no complaints.
