Food was excellent, the service was pretty good. I just didn’t like how much I waited for the food, because it took an hour from when I ordered to get it.
Anyway, it was totally delicious just don’t go if you’re already starving and want to eat right away.
First time here and 5 stars hands down.
Like my Abuela’s cooking so good , everything along with presentation and portions were on point. Definitely a gem in Virginia Beach.
I didn't expect to give 5 stars when I walked into this place. It is kind of hidden near the back side of a shopping area. It's had a simple, contemporary atmosphere with nice paintings and clean bathrooms. The food was just amazing though. The papa rellena was as big as a softball; perfectly light

Lunch platter specials for ~$13. The Caribbean stewed chicken was fabulous. Fried plantains yummy. Bar and table seating. Nice, well kept place.
Incredible food and great service. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are good. I can’t get enough of the sweet fried plantains!!!
Chicharrons were amazing. It was fresh and hot and had the amazing crunch you are searching for. The meat was juicy and flavorful. They churros were also fresh and hot and drizzled with caramel. We loved the food we had. The only down side is the decor but the food is amazing enough to go!!
Tasty Puerto Rican food. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s definitely not somewhere to go if you’re in a rush, but the food tastes like it’s made with love.

Great food, Good Customer Service, we love the decoration, excellent food and tasty, good portion, and nice presentation, even I met the chef to congratulate him for the flavoring and the presentation and he was very humble and very nice, but I believe that is kind of pricy. $90. for 2 people I felt
Jose & El Rincon Tropical was the BOMB 💣 💣💣for our long overdue FAMILY REUNION in July that we held in Va Beach!! Their prices are reasonable and the food is delicious!! You get great value for the money! We catered them for our banquet at Springhill Suites Oceanfront. Our family raved over the food
The entire place has an awesome vibe and the staff make you feel so welcomed 👌🏻 The food there is absolutely delicious 💯 When family comes to visit from all over the country…we always get lots of wonderful food from El Rincon Tropical ♥️💝🙏🏻👍🏻
First time going there, and I order my plate to go. The food was freshly made, and it tasted delicious. The price was reasonable, and customer service was friendly. I will definitely go back for a visit again with family & friends.
