This was the best burger my husband and I have had in a really long time. It was hot and the bun was soft. A melt in your mouth burger. We will definitely be back because we have been looking for a good burger place! There is a lot of other choices to choose from: Salads, chicken, PO-boy. They have a special of burger (with any and all add ons), fries and drink for $7.29. A real bargain.
Fries and tots are super crispy and wonderful!! Cheesesteaks are super tasty and are a good portion size. Try the Moose chicken bacon ranch with peppers and onions it's to die for! I also enjoyed the Jalapeño Jack steak n cheese with onions and mushrooms! The wait staff worked well together to make…
I had the chicken sandwich with fries and a drink, which was very reasonable at $6.95. I wasn't too sure what to think when it was first delivered to my table. It looked like a child size sandwich & a little messy. I have yo say honestly it was great! I actually could not finish my fries! It tastes very fresh, although the lettuce they used was not very appealing but fresh. The server was wonderful and attentive. My food arrived to me within 5 minutes... This, was my first visit and I will dine there again in the future..
My wife and I happen to be in the area and we're looking for something different to eat. So we thought this place is definitely different. We went in and was greeted by hailegh she seated us. And happened to also be our waitress. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and chili cheese fries my wife ordered a cheese steak sub with mushrooms and gravy fries. Both were great and you just can not get gravy fries anywhere. Great food great atmosphere and hailegh was absolutely amazing. She's definitely an outstanding employee.
Mel and I were out driving around the Battlefield/Volvo area and drove into the shopping center behind TGIFridays. Came across this delightful restaurant named Hwy 55. If you want burgers, shakes and "crinkle" fries, this is the place for you. Service was great and the burger... oh the burger!!! Smh. Just zoomed up to the number one spot on my list. Thick, juicy and cooked to perfection.
Took my friend for her birthday lunch and we both enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was great, we both got burgers and they were yummy and the staff was warm and friendly! Definitely going to go back and take the grandkids
Our favorite place to go for a quick, delicious, and affordable family meal!
My favorite burger joint. Very sad that the crinkle fries are gone. Please bring them back
Bought different menu items on both visits here. The food was great. The cheese curds and onion rings were awesome. Yes they have gained a regular customer here. Better than 5 guys by a long shot.
Went here yesterday with my son as a special treat. He ordered the Andy's burger and fries. I decided to try the pimento burger and I got gravy fries. My son also ordered a milk shake. Well he absolutely loved everything he got and so did I. Service was great. Julia was very attentive, food was hot and fresh, very clean imcluding the bathrooms. My son had never been there before and he can't wait to go again. Me and my husband were there 2 weeks before hand and had a wonderful time and great food also. Kepp up the great job guys!!!
Good chicken philly on a subway sandwich. Nothing was greasy including the onion rings, nor the lil’ cheeseburger we ordered after splitting that Andy size sandwich. Concrete was pretty decent. Not nearly as thick as I would like or some other joints have literally a brick in their custard with mix ins.
They are a burger place but I like that they are accommodating with vegetarian and pescetarian options. They waiter was very nice and had an exceptional uniform. My food was prepared in a timely manner and delicious. I would take my family here.
Food is pretty good, so is the price. Better than fast food but not quite as expressive as normal sit down restaurants. Friendly service too!
Overall it was a above average experience. The onion rings were great. The Poboys were above average but needed something to make them stand out. The wait staff was friendly but again didn’t stand out. Everything about this visit felt like hey it’s good but not memorable to make you want to keep coming back. Is it a bad thing, no but in this market you have to have that one thing that keeps customers coming back.
The manager Thomas was so nice ! They whole staff team was so friendly and quick on their feet. They also made sure we got everything we needed & more! I love they had different dipping sauces they gave us to try with our fries , I loved them! The food , I kid you not, was amazing. The fried pickles are out of this world. I will definitely be going back since this was my first time .
I enjoyed the food!! I had a Cobb salad with fried chicken!! It was delicious. I came with 5 other people, we all couldnt sit together due to the booths. It was very busy, not enough servers, so it did take a while for us to get everything we ordered. My children enjoyed their dinner. My daughter loved the kids meal served in a paper car that came with stickers. My son wanted another burger on top of the combo he had. Overall, it was a great visit besides the seating and the waitress shortage. The waitress I had was very polite!! She knew that they were shorthanded and she apologized. I'm sure the service would have been faster had they had more servers. But I still recommend this place!!
I love burgers and like trying different burger places So I wanted to give this place a shot. Service wasn't bad. But I think the lack of items such as milkshakes might have reflected on the service. They also didn't have cash to break my $20 for a tip other than tens fives and quarters. Fries were okay but I thought could be better for old fashioned diner fries. My son got the po' boy sandwich which was not bad but I've had better. It wasn't quite popcorn shrimp but they were pretty small. All thrown into a sub row with their special sauce. Not sure if I'd go again, maybe in a pinch but if I had to pick another diner spot I'd probably go to Johnny rockets instead. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have ice cream to make shakes as my son and I were out on a father/son dinner. The shake was going to be the highlight and they didn't have any so we went across the street to Sonic. Overall not a bad experience just not a great one. Not sure if I'll go again. I will say the burger was good though.
It's been a while since I've been close to a Hwy 55, so I was ecstatic when this one popped up on the map. I brought a couple of friends with me tonight and they loved it! They had never been to one before. Our waitress, Chrysler, was fantastic! I was very impressed with the cleanliness as well. Oh, and of course the food was amazing... like always! Walking in felt like coming home. I will be back.
I hadn't tried this place before, nor heard of it before. It's kind of like a 5 Guys mixed with Johnny Rockets. 50s feel, with burgers, chicken, and hot dogs. The food was pretty good for the price and staff was friendly. Definitely a super casual place, a step above fast food. I'd come back for a quick meal, and to try the milkshakes.
The best milkshakes anywhere, that’s all I have to say about that.
The Sub I got was really good, it was portioned just right and the bread was nice and soft, it wasn’t cooked with the meat like other places, a bit pricy but not substantially so.
The fries were good, not great but good.
It didn’t take too long to get the order either, and everyone was nice and welcoming.
