One of the better Waffle House experiences around. Typical breakfast food. This location is particularly clean, and the service was the best I've ever experienced at a Waffle House. The breakfast bowl is really good. Will be back.
Waffle House is a classic, and is always consistently great. Everything is always cooked exactly how you want it, and always tastes good. This specific location was really clean and had good, clean bathrooms.
You've ever been to a waffle House you understand the food service and atmosphere are pretty consistent. This particular waffle House had awesome polite service and the cook was on point.
Visiting here is always a good time and the food is delicious. Due to the area and the various forms of racism displayed by some patrons, you may have to bring one of your folding chairs along with you.
Great diner atmosphere and staff always very friendly. Good diner type food, great breakfast place!

Waffle, buttered toast, 2 sausage patties and grits for ~$10, friendly efficient staff with interchangeable functions as cashiering, serving, brewing coffee, refilling coffee, packing for "pick up" orders. Observed employees masked or unmasked, no handwashing, makes skeptical client re-think of food handler
guidelines or prevailing health illiteracy
in this southern region.
The service was very good. Plenty of staff on hand to handle the Father’s Day diners. Pecan waffle was worth the wait. Everything was cooked as requested. No complaints from me.

You’re welcomed by each Waffle House team member when you walk through the door. You can sit anywhere you like (if it’s available). The service you receive is prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food comes out exactly how you wanted it, and it taste fresh and delicious. Impressive for a Brand new Waffle House — keep it up!

It was a great stop to make before taking a 3 hour walk. Justin is a great server there. The cook made some great eggs and hash browns.
I learned a bit more about creating augmented reality environments, and then headed off into one of my own.

This Waffle House is located at the Courthouse area in southern Virginia Beach and is right around the municipal complex. I've gone past the place several times, but had never made it in there until my visit for breakfast on July 4, 2018. There is ample parking in their own parking lot. Looking at the building on the outside, it still looks new and fresh.
We made it into the place around 9:30 am that day and was right around the end of their breakfast rush that morning. There are a few booths available, along with bar type seating facing the kitchen and serving area. For our visit, we sat at one of the seats facing the kitchen and serving area since all booths were taken. Even though it was nearly a full house, we were served immediately upon seating, with the server coming right over asking for our drink orders as we looked at the menu.
After looking over the main menu and the two discount menus, I ended up going with the All-Star Special breakfast with a waffle, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, and grits with cheese. I'm not a fan of hash browns in general, so that's why I went with grits. It wasn't too long before the food came out, maybe about 5-8 minutes after ordering. I like the nice touch of the waffle where it says Waffle House in the middle of it. The food was hot and cooked the way it should be. Our server came back to check on us a few times to make sure everything was good. All of the food that came out was really good. With that special, there was more food than I thought it would be, so I was definitely full by the time I was done.
Overall, this was a great experience, especially being my first time visiting here. They handled things quite well, even with a full house (of waffle eaters). Food was great, along with the portion sizes for the price paid. This is definitely a location I will come back to. Check this place out if you're in the area.
