Less than 5 hours ago (my receipt reads 2:33pm) my husband and I mutually agreed to order food online via the grubhub website from this Virginia Beach Red Lobster location on Independence boulevard. The driver came in a reasonable timeframe and my husband and I enjoyed most of our food which included among: signature seafood mushrooms, some cheddar bay biscuits my amazing husbands choice: shrimp your way 3 option shrimp linguini alfredo walts favorite tequila lime shrimp baked potato with butter sour cream green onions and i chose the create your own selection 3 choice option that included the Parrot Isle Coconut shrimp (delectable coconut tasting sauce that comes with it) the grilled sea scallops bacon mac and cheese and the crispy brussell sprouts (the brussel sprouts was the only choice that was not my cup of tea tastewise). Additionally the vanilla bean cheesecake with Italian cream and cookie crust also tasted yummy. Luckily I was able to easily pay for the food with money made from my current workplace.

It's Shrimp Fest and we just had to go. I ordered a Bahama Mama, and it was delicious. They gave a nice amount of alcohol in it. They give you a basket of cheddar bay biscuits, so good. For the meal, I had the grilled shrimp skewers and shrimp scampi to start off. I had it with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It only comes with one side, but I bought another. My husband started off with shrimp scampi and shrimp Linguini Alfredo with fries. He also had a Long Island Ice tea. Whoever the bartender was, you did great! He really loved his drink. Our daughter had chicken tenders with broccoli as her side. They don't give the kids many choices for sides. She had chocolate milk with that because you get free refills, not so much on the juices! For the second go around, I had cheddar shrimps, not my favorite. My husband did the grilled skewers. For the last and final go around, we both did the Walts' favorite shrimp, which is just the fried shrimp with cocktail sauce. Of course, I couldn't finish mine, so it came home with me, lol.
I went on a week day and after 2'Oclock it was not that full of customers I liked that so really I could have sit anywhere I wanted too yet I let the waiter seat me

The server was great, very attentive polite, and interacted with us with a big friendly smile ☺️
She made sure our party of 7 was well taken care of
I had the crispy Brussels 😋
Stuffed flounder & 🥦 topped with a delicious sauce so lite and delicate paired very well with the tender flounder
I will always order the crispy Brussels from now on
I can't tell you enough how delicious this meal was !!!
I was the only one who took a picture, but there were 7 of us, and everyone had nothing but praise for their lunch
My noodles were slightly undone and the service was slow. The server was polite whenever when ever we did see her. It took a while for our food to come out. I assume it was because they were short staff. The biscuits were great. I don’t usually eat at Red. lobsters. My experience did not make me want to be a frequent customer.
We have been to this Red Lobster location @ Independence Blvd, VB, VA multiple times for years now! Always great food & Awesome Service!! Yesterday 3/30/23 was Awesome because Manager, Melva directed me to another larger bathroom due to the fact that I was on my mobility scooter....She went the extra mile to offer an easier access alternative private restroom... She did not have to extend her courtesy but she did!!👍👍🫶 As always our Server Jada was pleasant, vibrant, accommodating👍😎 and fun🤣!!!

The endless shrimp is awesome! Also had the stuffed mushrooms. A lot of varieties to choose from. Shrimp had really good flavor, fresh and hot temperature. Our server Morgan is really great! She is attentive, friendly and provided excellent customer service.
The host was the sweetest thing in there. She made you feel like you at home and it was only her second day on the job. She is going places in this established. My opinion if you keep her around for awhile then you,will for sure have a lot of happy repeat customer. Keep up the good work young lady.🙂🙂 August 23 2023 Dinner time I was there I couldn't see her name cause I didn't have my glasses on.
Endless shrimp times two. Restaurant was slow but still took 30 minutes to get seated in an empty bar area. Not sure what was going on so I won't pass judgment. Waitress was great, food was great.
After years of loving this place today my crab legs n biscuits were cold. Yes disappointing but easily fixed. The wait staff way awesome as usual. The Brussel sprouts, mixed drinks and broccoli way delicious. However the drinks were missing alcohol as usual.
