The very first thing I noticed when I walked into the center was that management was in a shirt and tie. This seems to have been lost over the years but this establishment is first class and gained my utmost respect immediately.
The layout is pretty straightforward for a 32-lane center and they utilize the space really well offering a couple pool tables with a "Bar Rescue" type feel as they are located in a very visible space looking in from the road.
The lanes are synthetic with wood approaches, honestly the best combination on bowling. There is plenty of space but may get a little tight with a full house.
Clean, super friendly staff, and very inexpensive compared to the Corporate driven centers. I can't wait to bowl in this establishment again, even if I have to drive 3.5 hours to do it!
There is no better place to bowl then pinboys! The staff is amazing, great food and awesome atmosphere. My parents, husband, and brother in law bowl in bowling leagues here and have been for years! We will never go anywhere else.
I came down to the beach for my birthday and decided to stop in. This is the best alley I’ve ever been. The staff is amazing and friendly. The VP is amazing and super helpful and friendly.
This is the best bowling alley in Hampton Roads by a long shot. Very clean!!! Reasonable prices. Great food!!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Love this place!!!!

We live this bowling alley for family fun. They are always very polite and the place is clean and well-kept. They are very helpful in making sure that our daughter has fun and can participate. Would highly recommend this place.

Pinboys is the place to be. I took the nieces there last year and we had a great time , so I took the other nephews and niecess there this year and we had a blast. Pool tables , air hockey, arcade games. If you're looking for a family atmosphere this is the place to be. Thanks for the memories PINBOYS. Very friendly staff.
Anytime we have a babysitter we always go here because it's always the best and they are the best they always compliment us so well
We visited while on vacation this past week. We found a deal on Groupon, which was $18 for unlimited bowling and shoe rental for two people for two hours. Friendly staff and food was decent. Will be back next year!

Always a good time at Pinboy’s! Staff are friendly and sometimes go the extra mile! Prices are reasonable and the lanes and balls are in greta condition! They even have a bar/lounge area with a pool table and an arcade section! Fun for all!
Good place, $100 for 2 hours lane unlimited games and shoes included. Staff was nice and beer prices weren’t bad, pitchers for $18.
Came with a bunch of friends the other night. Staff were super kind and attentive. Allen was the manager working that night and he was great! 👍 Thanks for being flexible with our reservation. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Pinboys is a favorite local spot that has awesome hospitality. The facility is clean, the lanes are pristine and the best part is knowing you are going to have a good time. The instructions to setup the game is simple, but if you have a question don't hesitate to ask the staff as they are more than willing to accommodate. They do not have duck pins but that doesn't prevent younger kids from making spares or strikes as they have the bumpers and the bowling ball slide (unsure of the technical term) in order to asisst the mini bowlers. Overall it's a great time and the prices are highly reasonable. Another awesome perk is kids 15 and under get two games free a day for the entire summer so be sure to go onto the site and sign them up!

Fun atmosphere, kids enjoyed it. Would have been 5 stars, but for the lingering smell of cigarette smoke from the closed off bar area.
Often busy with the number of Leagues, call ahead and ask when Open Bowl will be available or schedule online.
The food is excellent, with plenty of options and occasional specials! The only downside is no refills for Soda Refills; water is readily available. Lowering my Dr. Pepper intake is probably a good thing, though!
Great place for casual bowlers and those that want to step up their game with SPECTO available on 8 lanes! Make sure to stop by the Pro Shop.
