Ordered Krispy calamari and Indian pankakes for an appetizer, for dinner I ordered the Ribeye steak on the hot stone with grilled vegetables and a salad, My brother ordered chicken habachi with brown rice and soup. Delicious. Cooked my steak on a hot lava Rock and the rock stayed hot trough out my meal, great service nice atmosphere and a great experience over all and on top of it all I won a free meal because I hit the challenge button on the 10:0000 second mark, it was great.
Highly recommend this place. I'll be back soon to try other food.
I stopped in today for lunch to check out the food after we got a flier in the mail. The lunch menu had a nice variety of food to pick from, but I ended up getting the Beef Ramen, pork gyoza, soda and for desert - some mocha bean icecream.
I arrived around noon and was greeted by two very friendly servers, Desirae and Greg. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to answer questions about the menu. Throughout my visit, I was impressed by Desirae's knowledge of the menu items and how they were prepped, as she answered my and other patron's questions about differences in food items and/or ingredients readily. She and Greg both spent a lot of time going between tables checking on people and making sure they were cared for - even as larger parties arrived and things got busier.
The restaurant itself is very lovely inside, with lots of tables and seating options despite what one might thing seeing the front of the place from the street. Televisions around the room run footage of people cooking on the unique stone cook tops. Lighting is not too dark or overly bright. And the decorating is tasteful and pleasant.
The pork gyoza that I ordered arrived beautifully plated. The dough was soft with just a touch of crust. And the pork inside was tender and delicious.
The ramen itself wasn't bad and was an excellent portion for the price paid. I thought perhaps the broth was a little bit like beef stock with some fats. But the beef was absolutely wonderful. The chunks of beef were very tender, not rubbery and overcooked. And the spinach was fresh, fragrant and delicious. There was a LOT of noodles in the bowl which was really awesome.
For desert I got the bean mocha icecream. Again, the plating was absolutely beautiful. And the icecream was delicious. I appreciated that they cut the mocha into quarters so I could eat it easier.
I plan to go again to try out more of the menu. It is a little on the medium/high price range, but the food overall was good and the service and plating/experience was very fun. Thank you!

It was awesome! This is our first time since they open not a long time ago and everyone is talking about this spot. It was truly delicious!
I had been wanting to try this place for weeks now and I'm glad I finally got a moment to go with my husband and friends. I got the rib eye with mashed potatoes with gravy and asparagus. My food was delicious. My steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it on my stone while I spent time with friends. It's a nice slow cook and it's easy enough to cook your steak and eat pieces as it becomes ready to your liking. I got the garlic butter to dip it in. It really didn't need anything so it was just a plus. My steak was so juicy with a tiny amount of fat. My husband got option B for the 1/2 pound seafood boil bag (1/2 pound of each seafood on the chosen list) and it was delicious. It isn't too pricey. It's about average for a night out to dinner for two people. Our server was very attentive. She answered all of our questions and checked on us often. We would definitely go back.
First time there. Food was resplendent. I had the single hibachi salmon which was cooked perfectly and the portions was more than generous. For the quality, the price was reasonable. Only criticism was that they had no fountain drinks, which is fine for some people but I prefer them. I plan on returning.
This was a different place from the Shaking Crab! It was cheaper, the food was good, the potatoes were bigger, getting extra potatoes was cheaper and more in an order, and the sauce was also good. The only thing that kept from getting 5 stars was the crab legs were smaller and I didn't think 2 small crab legs was a pound!
I'm a Google guide and I eat at alot of different restaurants and this was my first time here and will definitely not be my last! The food was so good and my wife agreed even tho shes a picky eater. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and the food arrived in a timely fashion...get the steak, the steak, the steak !
The hot stone experience was different as it was our first time. The food was delicious - I had the scallops and my wife had the steak. It was kinda cool that we sat there and sizzled and flipped and cooked our dishes to our preference. It's not really my thing tho - if I'm going to a restaurant/out to eat, I'd rather order, have the meal brought to me, and eat it. And they WILL do that for you but then you miss the whole experience. The wife enjoyed it but she like going to those fondue places too. Give it a try and see if it's your thing - menu is diverse, how you cook it is up to you.
Went first time with my beloved during our anniversary week just looking for some lunch. Didn't even know about the hot stone cooking at the table. We got a large filet mignon to share after soup and fried scallops for me. I really enjoyed cooking our steak on the stone with my wife. Got to seer it really good with lots of salt and pepper. Steak was amazing! Service was too! Going for our anniversary dinner today!
A cozy little restaurant. Not sure how to classify it because the menu is all over the place. Asian, steakhouse, diner fare. The wait staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Was not too busy when we went on a Monday. Do NOT touch the stone your protein comes out on, it is extremely hot. The prices vary a good bit but for the most part are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit to try it.
