This post is for Amber. She is the exceptional example of customer service! We ordered food through post-mates, we realized our order had not arrived yet so we decided to give the store a call. Amber informed us that a lot of post mates orders are being cancelled (likely due to limited base access) and that she had our order but was waiting on the driver. As soon as we hung up, postmates confirmed my order had been cancelled. I called back immediately (I knew the store was closing and it was about to storm) and told her go ahead and take my order home for her or her crew and I’ll just pay over the phone ( didn’t want her to have to work after closing or drive in the storm). She told me it was no problem and she would deliver it personally once she closed. I attempted to refuse but she wouldn’t allow it. Sure enough, Amber came to our door with her mask on and it’s like her customer service didn’t clock out when she clocked out! Overall the best customer service experience EVER! Thank you Amber!
First time at this place. First impression was pricey and misleading. The mini is barely 2 bites of a sub. So I got the regular which was a little more reasonable but over priced. I'm use to foot longs for that price but then I got this slight wider roll that was cut completely in half , thanks for that btw, that allows the stuff to fall right out of the sub as you eat it which is annoying. They had coupons for their grand opening but it made no difference. Somehow they didn't get the memo that military bases usually don't charge tax. Well these guys slapped me with a 11.5% tax on this sub. Maybe I'm just spoiled but for all that I'll just drive off base and get a Wawa hoagie chips and drink for much less. The Italian sandwich was pretty good but I don't care to much for the wide gritty roll. You should also have the option to not butcher the roll in half so you don't lose the food Everytime you take a bite. Also put up a sign saying we charge tax on base so people aren't being blind sided.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s on a military base which google does not mention. So those of you wanting to eat at a jersey mikes in the area and do not have access to get on base are out of luck. I added a 4th star because of the owners nice reply. As a vet it was nice to have good restaurants on base. The google issue isn’t really the restaurants fault.
Once upon a time you could make two big sandwiches from one Jersey Mike sub. Of course this was over 20 years ago and in Jersey. LOL Times have changed, you can now buy their subs outside of Jersey, but they are still DELICIOUS.
Always great subs, fresh and all prepared in front of you, friendly staff! WAY BETTER THEN SUBWAY
Superb staff. Excellent customer service! They always ensure you have the perfect sub.
Best subs in tidewater Virginia
