Tourist review: incredibly nice cozy little area. The food was delicious! I got the Countryside Steak and it was great. The morning I went was a little busy and it looked like they were understaffed but the 2 waitresses were professional and courteous. The food did take long to be prepared but I did not mind waiting. If you need a quick meal, probably order ahead or go somewhere that is known for fast meals.
One of my favorite spots to eat on the island. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is inviting and family-friendly. The food is affordable, so good and big we always take leftovers home.
The menu has tons of options so you'll likely find something for everyone! Our family got the corned beef hash, meat lovers scrambler, and buttermilk pancakes.
The corned beef hash is good but keep in mind it is made with spam (in case you don't like spam). It was a bit salty for us.

Meat lovers scrambler was cooked beautifully with lots of flavor. The potatoes were seasoned well and not overcooked - soft and delicious! Will definitely be back for lunch!
As usual, I am never disappointed in this cafe. The food is always excellent as well as the atmosphere and service. Today, they were short staffed and very busy, but all the staff from the kitchen, etc. pulled together to help the one server that I could tell was running the tables. Teamwork at its finest! It is always a pleasure to stop in for excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. If you're visiting the area, make sure to check the hours as they are not open all day. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You will not regret stopping in.
Very tasty and cozy diner. We had the loco moco and kalua pork Benedict for breakfast, the loco moco being our favorite. Coffee was good too!
You can't miss the place because it's the only building that is unique on the whole island and it's right on the main road in Wainae. A Barn style look! There is seating inside or out. The small local town feel and the view is the ocean. The corned beef Loco moco was amazing. The 3 meat breakfast was plentiful and the papya was delicious. The French toast looked amazing, but I didn't want to over do it.
It's a very homemade-style place. It seemed there were a lot of locals dining for breakfast.
The food was very tasty and filling, and as mentioned, felt really homemade. We had a veggie omlet and two scrambled eggs with rice and bacon.
No specified gluten free options but you can choose some that should be safe, at least for non-celiacs.
Meat lovers scramble was amazing. The biscuits they were served with it were the most delicious biscuits I've ever had.
The Walk through the Country bkfst was a triple threat to my waist line as you can see here. So so broke da mout ono w excellent service.
Food was delicious. Family and I ate here a few times during our stay. Small inside but outside seating available. Servers were very accommodating and attentive. Lilikoi biscuits with the pineapple jam (to me tasted like pineapple), delicious! Some of their food items are topped with a brown gravy, bomb! Their guava drink, very refreshing! Highly recommend this location for breakfast.
We had the most amazing breakfast here. I kept going back between the Kimchi fried rice and the Crab Cake Benedict. I ended up picking the crab cake bennie and it did not disappoint!! The English muffin and the crab cake stayed crispy even with the hollandaise sauce and that poached egg ooze the entire time of eating it. Their coffee was perfect! I definitely will be bringing my family back for brunch. Our waitresses we so sweet. Such a great Thursday.
This is my go to place on my way to work i grab a quick breakfast and coffee . i love the staff and the great service...not to mention its right on the ocean . the food was so delicious and soft , cooked fresh to Order.

Food is great the view is great service is great. Almost made me want to move back home to hawaii.
Delicious food great service, can’t ask for more. I recommend trying the garlic fried chicken plate but next time I would try to get there before 1pm because they close early;)

My experience here was confusing. If there is assigned seating I didn’t see anything posted. We sat down outside and minutes later was told to get up because the tables weren’t cleaned.
They spent a few moments rearranging the tables on the deck. We we’re finally allowed to sit down.
Mind you we arrived at 930 am. Around 945 they delivered water to the table. Moments later we had our order taken. Our food arrived between 1030 and 1045 am.
I had the steak and eggs with rice. My steak may have been a tad over cooked. Otherwise I was pleased with my dish.
I understand they were short staffed and did they best to handle the influx of customers.
The views here are pretty nice. Great music and maybe if staffed appropriately it would have been a better experience.
