No dine in, no tables, no other staff. Just yummy breakfast plates and plate lunches. They do take card but we paid cash. No bathrooms. The shopping center has chairs and tables aligning the store fronts. Ordering is super easy. The pancakes were really really yummy and the kalbi was delicious. Great for grab and go
I got the pork gisantes (sp?) and banana lumpia. Now I have to get someone to roll me back to Hale’iwa bc I am so stuffed. 1000/10 recommend. Don’t be dissuaded by the exterior (or interior for that matter). Has no sign on the strip mall but it’s next door to the Hawaiian clothes shop. I ate outside and stared at the mountains while stuffing my face.
Super fast and fantastic food! This is, by far, the best Hawaiian lunch plates we have had. We got kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, bbq chicken, pork adobo, shoyu chicken, mini loco moco, Hawaiian omelette, and a couple cheeseburgers. All of the meats had their own distinct flavors and similar dishes like teriyaki and bbq were very different and stood on their own. Each time we’ve been here we ordered six dishes and they came out within about ten minutes. I will absolutely be eating here every time we’re in Waimanalo.
Don't let the first impression make you walk out the door. The food was awesome and the flavor was spot on! Portions are large and the price is reasonable. The ladies there are also very sweet and kind. Go here... you won't regret it.
Run to this place, do not walk, don’t look at anywhere else to eat, just go. Super fast and friendly service. A two meat plate, rice, macaroni salad and a drink was only $12 and it was enough for two people. It may look a little rundown, but get over the looks and pay attention to the deliciousness of this place!
No bathrooms, and probably better for jus takeout, but we ate well for very little money and the atmosphere was purely basic….. which we loved.
The pancakes are amazing here. You can only order for take out. There are no tables or chairs to sit. The orders are filled really quickly and made fresh.
Great breakfast, great choices.
You're getting what you pay for and I'm happy about it.
Longanisa was perfect.
Do NOT get Subway or Jack in the Box. You are seriously missing out on living a full life and enjoying wonderful food infused with love.
We shared a mix plate on a Roberts Hawaii Circle Island Tour consisting of the pork adobo and kalua BBQ pork white rice (didn't really eat it) and macaroni salad (also didn't really eat it). The pork adobo was my favorite - super flavorful broth and meat, tender with fat that melts (or you can be like my husband and push it off to the side easy enough). My husband prefers the kalua pork. This is saying a lot that I enjoyed thoroughly 2 pork dishes when I never order pork and pick it out if something comes with it usually.
Solid lunch option. Stopped on the way to lanakai. Look for the blueish door in the corner to the right of the treasure store. Good sized portion and great value ($9-12).
This is one of those unassuming hole in the wall places that...hit a lot of stereotypes that reinforce how good the food is.
The food is cheaper than the Jack in the Box right in front of it, yet is WAAAAY more satisfying and delicious.
While you might not like the atmosphere when you walk in...and you will know what i mean when you get there. TRUST ME, the food is GREAT!
A great variety of "local" food, reasonable prices, very friendly owner Leslie, and the food is always served nice and hot in a generous portion. Outside seating only which is not always available.
If you like shrimp this is the place for you
Wide varieties of different seasoning is amazing
The chicken too filled me up
Comes with a nice portion of shrimp or chicken and acpups of rice along with a fresh piece of delicious Pineapple.
Nice portions and great prices..can't beat the $5 breakfast plates! Only thing is their scrambled eggs are junk and flat! So if u get breakfast there be sure to get the over easy eggs 😊
Delicious meat plates at a good price. I really liked the Shoyu Chicken. Kailua Pork and Kalbi were also really good. You really can't go wrong here.
Hole in a wall restaurant. $4.00 mini breakfast, 1 egg, 2 pieces of crispy spam and rice, yummy. If you want get banana Lumpia at 3 for $2.50. Freshly made and delish. The lady is nice, give them a try ~ you won't regret.
Authentic affordable food. We can finally afford to eat out with the whole family. The papaya soup is delicious (if it's the daily special) and the lumpia is worth the drive.
Small little shop with no sign. extremely good and tender meat. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for authentic Hawaiian Cuisine. Tons of food for the money
Great food at a great price. Just over a half hour from Waikiki. Don't miss this hidden jem when you're in Oahu.
