The food was delicious. Spicy pork has lots of flavor and just the right level of spice for me. Noodles were good too. It’s a small place, not a lot of seating. I gave it a 5 because of the quantity and taste of the food.
4.4/5 stars. Leeward serves a solid plate of food. Be the legend and treat yourself to all the Hawaiian favorites. Can’t go wrong with your choice. We really enjoyed dinner here.
If you're looking for the BEST Fried noodles, look no further. Leeward Drive-Inn has the best Fried noodles 🍜 😋 You can add any meat to your plate for an additional cost. A must try is their BBQ Pork! It won't disappoint 🙌
Heard a lot about their fried noodles. Wanted to try their version. I was expecting it to be like a drive in that is no longer in business. Wasn't the same. Good sized portion. Reasonably priced. Would go again.
I got me the Deluxe plate which had a little bit of everything. The crispy Chicken was really really good as well as the fried noodles. Spare ribs were ok and the loco moco patty was ok as well. I would go back again for the chicken and noodles. That is a must. There noodles are really good. There are benches outside to sit, lady in the counter kind of rude but she seemed real busy. Large parking and near highway. So it is in great location.
You can never go wrong with Leeward Drive Inn’s Fried Noodles with Fried Chicken. But the Fried Chicken is so ono, you gotta get another one just in case.
Every time I come here I get the BBQ pork sandwich. Pork is tender not over powered by the marinade. The bun is so soft and warm just compliments the meat so well.
Got our Hawaiian honey cone fix ever since craving it again after the Pumpkin patch. They sell it here for much cheaper than they sell it at fairs & other events. Although it seems to be fresher when you get it at those events it’s still good enough for me! One time it was super stale & so how I try it before I leave just in case that happens again. They’ve got a whole bunch of other good food too! I just been only going there for the honey cones lately.

Old-school Drive Inn! Excellent Laulau & known for their Fried Noodles. Portion sizes are good & all their food is delicious. They have Icee products, along w/Monster & Reign energy drinks. Older section of Waipahu. A few outdoor tables. Always busy, so expect to wait. Recommend calling in your Order, if possible.
I love their fried noodles, their plates are good, The bentos are good, I don't think I've eaten anything from there that I didn't like, turnovers are good too. It's comfort food for me and they give a lot so I normally turn it into two meals.
I've heard so much about this place, but the timing has never worked out where I'd be in the area during a meal time. That day finally came and I was not disappointed.
I have heard a lot about their famous fried noodles. Ever since Jurison's and The Heights closed their doors, I've been missing that nostalgic fried noodles taste and I think I've found a worthy replacement.
Kind of an odd choice, but I felt like Meat Jun on this occasion so I got the Fried Noodles combo with Meat Jun. I wasn't expecting much and almost immediately wished I got the special of the day: Hamburger Curry (which I only noticed on a handwritten sign in the window), but I was pleasantly surprised.
From the exterior, it doesn't appear to be the cleanest, nor safest place to get a plate lunch, but I think that's part of the lure and what makes it so appealing. Going to definitely be back to try more options from their quite extensive menu board.
Ate the loco moco with eggs over easy. It was flavorful and a large portion. Not my favorite loco moco but still good. The noodles everyone loved and the chicken is crisp and delicious!! Give it a try!!

7/15/2021 Called for take out, 1 mix plate with fried chicken & roast pork, gravy on the side, hand cut fries, and 1 mix plate with chicken katsu and mahi mahi. Oh so good! My chicken katsu was crispy and the sauce on the side was really tangy and yum. The mahi was thinner than I expected but had delicious fry mix coating it and with a different tartar sauce that was tangy, had pickle relish and shredded carrots. The fried noodles are consistently delicious and I like that under the mac salad is shredded cabbage salad with Thousand Island dressing. These plates are huge and make at least three meals for me!
Easy phone ordering and pickup. The only thing is she answered the phone with a hello so I had to ask if I had reached Leeward Drive-Inn. I delivered both an Ultimate Mix Plate & a Fried Noodle plate with added Chicken Katsu to a friend who loves fried noodles and makes his own tasty version. He said Leeward Drive-Inn's noodles are the best he's ever had. As he's 73 & has eaten lots of fried noodles in his lifetime, I consider him an expert & also wholeheartedly agree! Leeward Drive-In is consistently delicious!
OK so what we have here is a great place. Food 5 ⭐ for me, service 5 ⭐ atmosphere only got a 2 but if you local it's a 5 ⭐ place...nah but for reals the food is bomb bomb try a new dish when you go but I rec, The noodles 4 sho, and the roast pork with extra gravy...they all so do turnovers empanadas and their j cones are amazing soft served ice cream for dessert yes sah...
This is another favorite place of mine to get good local style food. Great prices, good food, friendly staff. Nice size portions. Get plenty of choices to choose from. This place never disappoints. I've been going to this place since I was a kid, that's about 40+ years now.
I am a big korean bbq fan so my brother told me about this place and about the kal-bi bbq short rib plate so I had to check it out for myself. I love kal-bi and mac salad and have tasted quite a variety of ribs and mac but let me tell you after trying the ones from here, it was basically life-changing for me! The delicious tarty/sweet bbq suace flavour combined with the perfectly cooked and sliced kal-bi short rib meat were a match made in culinary heaven and I was sure glad to have tasted it. The very creamy macaroni surprised me with potato inside, basically sealing the deal for me. Topping it all off with some yummy toss salad, I was extremely satisfied and just like that I'm a customer for life!
