First time in Chophouse and we had a really nice dinner. Food, service and atmosphere were all good. We would definitely return. Only reason I rated them a four is because they had so many employees standing around it was like there was almost no privacy at our table. There easily had to have been eight people working with only about 6-8 tables in the entire restaurant seated. One of the bartenders literally never quit talking to this one particular, older couple that was sitting at the bar and unfortunately it was an hour and a half of non-stop talk right next to our table. He never served another person in the entire time the couple was there and he never quit talking. Fortunately there was another bartender there handling things... Some of the weirdest conversation I've ever heard LOL. It would be better if there weren't 8 to 10 employees working at any given time? The moment we lifted our head it was inevitable that we would make eye contact with someone and they would come to the table, even though we didn't need assistance. I like relaxing dinners with very little interruptions, so this was a little awkward for us 🤦 Overall though the entire experience was good.
First of all, right from the start the hostesses were very kind and friendly to us, and we were seated quickly. Our server, Grace, was very kind and attentive, and the food was outstanding! 10/10
Last meal we had in Narragansett for the weekend. And left on a very good note. Oddly enough, may have been the best chicken tenders I've ever had in my life. They're famous for them here! Drenched in a special sauce, they were unreal. Raw bar was great too, as well as some hot apps, and the entree did not disappoint. We came early so there weren't many people there, but the waiter was very friendly and talkative, which I liked!
We recently had the rehearsal dinner for my wedding and i cannot say enough how terrific it was having it at Chophouse. The staff including Martin & Leo were super accommodating to my mother in terms of setting the space up to her liking. The food & service was spectacular during the event. Chophouse gained many new fans from that evening!
As we entered we were warmly greeted, our server was excellent. Place was empty bc we got there for lunch early as we were returning our dtr back to URI. Our server very attentive and very pleasant. We ordered sandwiches which were on soft rolls and were very delicious, ck Parm, ck and Reubens, so good. Clam chowder and onion soup were excellent. Place was large and staff friendly. Great parking.
We went for lunch. Service and the food was perfect. Unfortunately I was having such a good time at lunch I forgot my credit card at the table. Well, Chophouse Grille solved that too! They were kind enough to mail my card to me. Thank you for great service, great food and going above and beyond.
First time...and it's on the Go Back Again list. Nicely decorated, classy and a touch rustic chic. Ribeye steak was fantastic, virtually melted in your mouth. The scallop dish was good with a surprise kick in the flavoring, good but unexpected, maybe a bit too spicy for some. The roasted carrots had her nice charred flavor mixed in the carrots sweetness. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfection. Definitely coming back! Parking can be tight on busy night. Service was good. Our waitress was nice and professional. The support staff, helping our waitress, a bit of a college kid snot. No eye contact, I'm too good in major to work here attitude. Whatever Tammy just bring me another water. Lol. A bit pricey but acceptable.
This place is a home run. It is always a challenge to find a place to eat because my girlfriend is gluten free. Yes I would expect a steakhouse to have GF options but they go above and beyond. The GF options are amazing. I typically wont eat GF meals myself but their GF options are excellent. Service was friendly, parking was good and prices were reasonable.
Great restaurant , but pricey. Food was delicious. Took a while for drinks, but waitstaff was helpful and super nice.
Great experience. We were a large group and had tried other spots but could not accommodate us. The hostess moved things around to make us feel comfortable. Service was excellent, and we never had to wait for service
The blackened swordfish dish is THE BEST I've ever tasted. Highly recommend. Fresh bread straight out of the oven with a sweet cinnamon sugar butter spread. Perfect!
The food was outstanding, from the Buffalo tenders to the Bolognese and a perfectly prepared steak. Our top notch server Rebecca made our party of 4's evening outstanding.
Very polite waitresses made our night a blast! Food was excellent and served quickly and efficiently. Big shout out to management for having great food and excellent staff. Definitely will be returning!
What a pleasant surprise! Just happened upon this place. A real gem. Food was so good. Might even take a day trip down to eat there again!
Calamari made my wife dance. Chowder actually tasted like a chowder.
Main entrees needed just a little work to get a fifth star.
They were out of brûlée, but did everything to try to make it up to us.
Starting with the warm bread, the Chophouse is excellent! Cameron was a great server. Food was delicious and fast.
Restaurant was slow on a Saturday night? It was raining so could be bad weather keeping guests away because.........!!! The Service was incredible. Funny, listened to needs, Drinks next time. On point! Fun Enjoyable night. Food was good. Tater tots were 100%. Someone needs to make a dip for those!
