This was an impulse stop and glad I did. The place smells great when you walk in the door, you know, the charbroiled smell. So many choices, but I went for the sourdough steak sandwich....mmm good! The sweet potato fries is also a treat. Now for condiments, besides the normal things, they had packets of A1 sauce and Cholula Hot Sauce along with fresh banana peppers, jalapeños, and Pepperoncini's. This place has got it right! Dang right this is going to become a Habit!
I have been craving the Southwest Cobb since the first time I went there, so I had to go back! It was just as good as I remembered. Fresh and flavorful, and the serving is always excellent.
Great quality and flavor. Loved the burger and panko green beans the best.
Food is delicious, I had the Impossible Burger very tasty I honestly forgot it wasn't beef! The fried string beans are great as well. My wife had the burger with the mushrooms and she's been back twice since.

Burgers were decent - nothing special. They were well seasoned - perhaps ever so slightly salty. Toppings were accurate and fresh. Fries had a nice flavor even without ketchup, just salt. The tempura green beans were heavenly. They were juicy yet still had a delightful snap. They *must* be enjoyed with the ranch sauce they provide. Also, the peach ginger nectar on tap was SO good. They get extra points for free refills. Finally, service was spectacular. When I mentioned I had never been there before the cashier offered me a blend of fries and green beans so I could try more items without having to pay more. He was also just very pleasant. Establishment was clean throughout.
Misses: no paper towels in the clean women's bathroom, ran out of fresh ketchup so we had to use packets, wait time was a little long for what we ordered, skip brussel sprouts... my camera makes them look better than they look! Hard to keep them warm in their airy space so they turned cold and vinegary quite quickly.
Went today with a friend for the first time, he treated made it bettter. :) Just joking around was nice of him, saw the price wasnt expensive well priced. Got a #1 was a single burger named after them I believe and onion rings was real good. Will get the double next time would be more filling and only a dollar something more. Place was very clean, employee real nice. Friend and I stayed after finished and talked for a while wasnt rushed to leave or anything. Will go back.
The Habit Burger is a small chain of fast casual restaurants that begun in 1969 in Santa Barbara, CA. Their charbroiled burgers are made to order, as well as their fries, onion rings, salads and shakes. I had their single burger, which comes with everything, an order of onions rings and a chocolate malt. The burger was hot and delicious, and so where the onion rings! I loved the chocolate malt shake, a rarity this days. The place was impeccably clean, and the service was efficient and fast, considering that everything is made to order!
