Hidden gem in Walker Mn...medium sized fine dining with inventive specials. My husband I ordered off the regular menu, prawns and pork chop and they were both outstanding. Very friendly waitstaff and very efficiently run. Inside and outside dining available as well as full bar. Highly recommend this dining experience!

We had a wonderful time at the Boulders on Saturday evening. My husband and I ordered off the senior menu, which was a great value for some outstanding food! Our daughter had the seared tuna, which was out of this world. The service was exceptional, and the surroundings were so comfortable and relaxed. Add to that a beautiful view of fall colors through the windows, and you have a memorable experience. Thank you, Boulders!! 💙

Excellent service and food for a white table cloth restaurant at an expected price. I highly recommend the ahi tuna appetizer, Gorgonzola ribeye, and the Louis Martini Cabernet Sauvignon.

The best restaurant in Walker and maybe in north central MN! The staff is so professional and friendly. Start with one of their martinis- you won’t be disappointed! I’ve enjoyed several different dishes- all delicious. Recently I had the Cassoulet which was a special- also delicious.

It doesn't matter what you order here, everything is superb! The service is always amazing too. During the busy summer months, you probably need a reservation but I promise it's worth the wait!

We go there every year for our anniversary. Every meal is fantastic! Great drinks, wine and beer selection. I had the ahi tuna, my hubby loves the paella, friends of ours had grouper. Walleye, filet mignon and ribeye with gorganzola; everything is excellent! Definitely get the artichoke crab dip with pita wedges for an appetizer. We also shared the double chocolate cake. Heavenly!! Make a reservation, it fills up fast.

The dining room had an intimate feel, but was not cramped. The food was executed well. Six entrees were ordered and all tasted good. It merits the rating in my opinion and isn't over inflated despite a lack of alternatives dinner options in town.

The food here is phenomenal! Totally worth the price-- the quality of it all is amazing. We got the Hot Crab and Artichoke Dip and the Sesame and Coriander Crusted Ahi Tuna for appetizers. The dip was one of the most amazing things I'd ever tasted. The tuna was very good quality and also tasted fantastic! For dinner we got the Crab Crusted Grouper, something I think was called Seafood Mornay, and the Skillet Paella. The grouper had a wonderful lemony sauce and melted in your mouth. The seafood mornay was something out of this world. The paella took my tastebuds to a whole new level. Everything was made perfectly! I hope to come back and taste their other dishes, I'm sure they're just as spectacular!

I would give 4.5 stars and I would return. For me it was very good but not great. The setting is nice, everything is neat and clean, and it feels special. This kind of restaurant isn't expected in Walker. The salad with fresh strawberries was delicious. I had the encrusted grouper, which was good but somewhat over cooked as were the mixed vegetables. The sweet potato mash was a nice change of pace. My wife was very happy with the coconut shrimp. They have several fish selections which also wasn't expected. Chocolate cake and ice cream with coffee was a nice way to end a special meal. We arrived at 5:00 and was surprised that they had senior prices for the first half hour. Service was adequate but not particularly attentive. I think they have the same staffing issues that most places have. Reservations a good idea.
