Love this place! We’ve been going since they opened in 1989. Celebrate lots of special events with friends and family. Same chef from the beginning. Gotta have carpaccio, veal parm,calamari steak dore, clams linguine are our favorites. Loud place but that’s what makes it fun! Will always go back
Last night My friend and I wanted to try somewhere new for dinner. First we were told it would be over an hour for a table, we decided to wait. We enjoyed a glass of wine while looking over the menu waiting for a table to open up. Thank goodness for a reservation no show we didn't end up waiting too long. The food was amazing with leftovers to go home. The escargot was delicious, the Cesar salad was soo yummy. He had the seafood pasta and I had the veal. The service was great and we will definitely go back!!

We had such a great time! We brought a special bottle of wine for fathers day and our waiter was so knowledgeable about wines he spent the extra time on a busy night to share his knowledge! That was very special ! We love our nights out at Montecatini !
Great food and staff is friendly. The cocktails were pretty good.

Absolutely wonderful dinner as always!! Everything was so good. From the perfect , crisp Caesar salad, the chicken scallopini with savory brown sauce followed up with a piece of pumpkin cheesecake!! There is no other restraunt in this area that consistently serves up a perfect meal time and time again
It's a very under rated restaurant in Walnut Creek. Has a nice romantic feeling in side. The service and food is amazing and you get great portions. It's always busy and I can see why. Only thing that was a little odd, they made us pay for the birthday treat, we were their celebrating a bday. Not sure if other places do that.
Went there with my Wife to celebrate our 21st year of Marriage and the experience couldn't been better. The food was outstanding and the service was fantastic. We will certainly be back.

This place is amazing!!! Very friendly atmosphere! They make you feel at home! Service is excellent! I sat at at bar and Angel was my server. He was fantastic! I met Taylor (the owner) and she was super friendly. If you are anywhere remotely close to this area, I strongly recommend stopping in and enjoying an exceptional dining experience!
We loved the dinner, ambiance and staff. The generous portions of each antipasti, salad, and entrée were absolutely delicious. The service was first class. Romantic date night. We definitely intend to go back to try other entrees. This was a winner!
New owner(but he worked there for 15 years), New menu, New drinks. And on and on and on. Fresh, Delicious and Filling. Enjoy a date night or special occasion with friends and family. Ask about the specials if they haven't already told you. Its a little loud when full but its an old mason stone building and that loves to reflect like a natural microphone. Try something new and relax your in good hands.
Such a lovely restaurant! Great quality food, great service, and such a romantic ambience. They also have a happy hour here, which is awesome! Also, the menu has a good selection of wine and yummy options with different meats, or a great selection for a vegetarian diet. We will definitely be coming back!

Hands down the best traditional Italian in Walnut Creek. Been going here for years and it has always been consistently great food and service. You won't be disappointed. Gets really crowded on the weekends so be sure to call ahead.
My family loves going to this place. Our food tends to change and so does our methods of obtaining it. We still are leery of going to dine-in since Covid but we do come to pick up food all the time. My parents love to the get the tortellini and I tend to get the specials, especially when there is osso bucco! If there is an issue we always get great customer service in response.
The staff was super friendly, they treat everyone like a long time customer. The service was quick and the staff was attentive to our needs. The food was all so good I was practically licking my plate to get it all.
