Lottie's has the best ice cream, you can taste the high quality and the fresh ingredients in every lick. Every time I go in, I love the flavor I pick! Sad to say I strayed last night to the "other place" down the street (gift card!) and was thoroughly disappointed. Didn't even finish my cone of ice cream. -Spoiled by Lottie's!
The Roasted Strawberry is excellent. I have never been a strawberry ice cream fan, but this flavor has changed that. My husband always brags about the Duffy's Ice Cream in San Leandro back in the 70's. Now he says Lottie's is the best strawberry ice cream since Duffy's.

Delish. First time there. Came in after dinner celebrating our "adult" sons birthday. Perfect end to the evening. Who doesn't like ice cream?
Best ice cream I have ever had anywhere. Try the candied Kumquat flavor. Great waffle cones and waffle cups. Really good hot chocolate sauce. It is worth the hassle of finding parking on a Friday night to get a cone here. Really--it just doesn't get any better than this.

My favorite ice cream place ever!! Amazing, delicious, one of a kind flavors all made on site at the Bay Area's only micro-creamery. Creme Fraiche Brownie is to die for and sells out fast! Pre-order a pint to ensure you get your share. Also, Malt Chip, Creme Brulee, and Cardamom flavors are some of my favorites. Shop local and you will not be let down!!

Yes. Excellent Led in by my craving for organic ice cream and searching on Yelp after a yoga class. Walked over and almost died was so delicious and satisfying.
The ice cream here may cost a bit more than other places in Walnut Creek, but it is SO worth it! The quality is excellent and the choice of flavors always keeps us guessing what else they can come up with!!!

While I was in Walnut Creek, I found a great little ice cream shop called Lottie's. I was surprised to find that they handcraft Artisan ice cream on the other side of their backwall of their storefront. I also found that their building was the original Post Office for Walnut Creek.
I had a delicious Hot Fudge Sundae made with a large scoop chocolate ice cream, and one of Vanilla Salted Almond Toffee. It was topped with hot fudge sauce, praline peanuts, and whipped cream that they whip there. It tasted so much better than the factory made ice cream found in markets. I noticed how the ice cream was stretchy while I was spooning out of my bowl. I throughly enjoyed every bite!!!
They also make ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream floats.
Lottie's ice cream is really fresh--seeing how it is made in the back room. I saw them working through the back window, and took a picture.
Tip: there is no place to eat ice cream in their shop, however, there are several benches across the street--that is where I ate mine.
The ice cream tastes very unique and has a various of flavors. It’s chewy and not too sweet, and it’s delicious. We chose Earl Gray, Ethiopian Coffee and Vanilla Bean flavors.
Visited this shop on a whim, so I didn’t expect much.. but it ended up being one of the best ice creams Ive had in my life. They have a variety of interesting flavors, and I decided to try the ginger green tea toffee. Each of the flavors came through strong - especially the ginger - and there were bits of actual ginger and toffee mixed in. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area to satisfy a sweet tooth!

One of the best places with amazing ice cream options we have found recently. Especially, I loved Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake and Orange Blossom Honey. I recommend this place to all who want to enjoy with eating tasty ice creams !!!
Top tier local handcrafted ice cream. Their chocolate ice cream is rich. Their vanilla is smooth and subtle. All of their original recipes have a perfect balance of flavor and cream, without overdoing the sugar. Highly recommend it!
Amazing option of flavors. Not too many but enough to choose from. I personally enjoyed the turkish coffee flavor. Must try if you are in the area.
