Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I only ate spicy miso ramen but the toppings have changed little by little these few weeks. Serving staffs were great, too bad this will be my last time eating at this restaurant..
Two stars for the location and staff. Food isn't a good reason to go back and eat here again. The ramen has too much noodles, ughh! 😲 The chicken meat in karaage was stale and not fresh. I always get their spicy miso ramen. Lvl 7 heat. My favorite ramen shop in the area, being that ramen isn't easy to find in this area I'm glad they do a good job! Their spring rolls are also delicious.
Didn't expect it to be this good. The ramen had many layers of flavors which was well thought out for. Favors are not right. I got Miso Chashu Ramen, and you couldn't taste the miso. There was also no spice or corn. Otherwise, the noodles, broth was tasty but definitely not ramen broth. Unfortunately, this feels like just another wannabe ramen place. I still highly prefer Hiroshi in WC. Update: I
After eating ramen at Tonli, it’s hard for me to like any other places. I would say one of the best ramen places in walnut creek/concord area. Rich, sticky creamy broth, well garnished and filling. Highly recommend
