The Ravens Nest is a very well known and similarly adored spot by the locals. ‘The nest’ is owned by the Mcaulliff family of 5. It wouldn’t be surprising to me if you met the owner or a member of his family when you visit, as he is incredibly hands-on at his places of business (‘Tessie’s’ just two doors down is also a hidden gem owned by the same family). They have built an incredibly notable staff, environment, and culinary experience. Tonight I was craving one of their staple, and in my opinion, most comforting meals. I got to the bar at about 5:45 (on a Sunday); Though they were steady-busy from when I arrived onward, the environment never seemed overwhelming and is somehow always near spotless. With a back deck, indoor dining area/bar with large open windows, and a large *well mannered dog friendly* patio area out front to choose from, you could essentially choose your mood for the night. I started out by ordering a Mango beer on draught off their tap list from bartender Jess… (and then a few more later), I then ordered the 4 cheese tortellini with shrimp added. Jess was fantastic on the bar making sure myself and the other people around me had waters, rounds, and food as needed (3 different locals struck up conversation with me during my visit and had only good things to say about this place). The beer was a unique, delicious one from CA and the tortellini was incredible as always. This place is validly beloved by the younger and older crowds. A sneaky good menu, staff, and environment makes for a 5 star experience (and review).

I told a (Mass.) colleague that I was traveling from Texas (home) to Walpole, MA. He highly recommended The Raven's Nest Pub. We were not disappointed. We sampled some ales. I had PumpkinHead by Shipyard. My wife had Blueberry Ale. We liked it so much, she called around Texas trying to find it. We bought the last 24 cans in Texas. Everything about The Raven's Nest was excellent: bartender, waitress, food, beers, atmosphere. Met a friendly pub mate, had a nice chat about his teams. I called my colleague when I got home and thanked him for the suggestion. Will be back next year for the changing of the leaves and try some more Raven's Nest specialties.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. We were hesitant because the food didn’t look that good in the pictures but the opposite is true. Place has amazing tasting food and definitely worth your time. Great atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

I had a steak off the specials menu, medium. Cooked perfectly, green beans were fresh, mash was seasoned deliciously. Excellent brownie sundae. Small beer selection, but a solid bunch of options. Great atmosphere and decor. No fault of the establishment, but can be kind of loud depending on current occupants and seating. Parking is tricky, but not prohibitively so. I found a spot after circling once, and that was on a Friday an hour after work so it's to be expected. Definitely will return.

After driving by this place a few times on my way to work, i decided i had to stop in and try it. I wasnt disappointed. The name 'The Raven's Nest' is just perfect, especially so when i actually saw one only a few miles away. Its not too large inside but doesn't feel crammed together. It has a full size bar and a decent sized restaurant area. Its much larger inside than you might suspect from the outside. The staff was friendly and overall really good. They had some nice (i think) seasonal drinks, and their burgers are heavenly. The way they grill their burger buns is unique and adds a nice flavor to them. I will definitely be a repeat visitor despite the relatively long distance from my home.
