Delicious food in an adorable setting. Semi-casual atmosphere. Pretty good drink selection. They carry ciders that are made at a farm down the road. Also, the bread basket includes a soft pretzel 🥨 😋
This review really deserves 10 stars, not just 5. The entryway is warm and welcoming. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a smile! Our table was ready, our server explained our menu options and brought the drinks within minutes. The service was impeccable. The menu speaks for itself and offers delicious variety for everyone! The scallop, shrimp and grits, and potato gnocchi appetizers are superb. The Chicken and Salmon were absolutely incredible! Hummingbird, lemon petit fours, and chocolate cake desserts were delicious. However the salted caramel cheesecake was to die for! Before exiting our server took us on a mini tour of the bar area and the enclosed porch where brunch will be served. The views are amazing! Absolutely Amazing! This place belongs in a big city with lines out the door. The quality and care that must have gone into the food that we had is unbelievable!
My wife and I were staying at the Omni Homestead Resort for the weekend which is 10 minutes down the road from The Warm Springs Inn and Tavern. Our experience with the Homestead was lackluster at best (review coming). There are very few dining options at the resort and they are all very similar and very pricey. We found The Warm Springs Tavern and it saved our visit. Homestead should be ashamed that they are being outdone to this level.
We over ordered as we usually do because we want to try everything. We ordered the surf and turn, cheese grits, gnocchi (this should be illegal it's so good), and bouillabaisse. Everything was top notch! The seafood in the bouillabaisse was fresh and cooked perfectly, the broth tasted like it was simmered for hours. The filet was one of the most perfectly cooked and seasoned steaks I've ever had. Now...the gnocchi, this stuff is like sex on a plate. It was what I'm assuming is homemade gnocchi is a cream and bacon sauce. I mean, are you kidding me?!
The decor was super charming, the service was impeccable, and the food is 5 star all day. This is the place to go above anywhere else in town.
Fantastic food. We both got the cordon bleu and devoured it. Also had some local hard cider that was good enough we bought a bottle to take home. The atmosphere is perfectly fitting for the area. The prices are also very reasonable for being in a tourist area.
Beautiful house and scenery, amazing food and great service! The bouillabaisse was incredible , and the surf and turf (steak and shrimp) were worth every cent. The owner even took the time to explain all the best things to do in Bath County. I could not have asked for a more pleasant evening.
This place is a bit on the pricey side but we enjoyed ourselves. Their menu specifies gluten free options. Everything we ordered was great. You do need reservations. One of the servers spoke to us at length about things to do in the area, which was very helpful.
Thank y'all so much for my birthday dinner. The Surf & Turf was excellent. I was thrilled y'alls pumpkin cheesecake was back and awesome. Kim's service was great as always.
