This coffee shop is my favorite in the city. The staff is super friendly, the espresso is delicious and high quality, the interior design is homely and sweet, there's a fire place, & enough outlets and chairs/couches/tables. They even do yoga classes and live music. There is also a conference room available to anyone who requests it. I come here anytime I want to meet with a friend or study. The pasties are also amazing! I recommend this coffee shop to all my friends. ��

Higher Grounds is definitely a great place to have a morning business meeting, indulgent late afternoon sweet or a early evening dessert. We met the baker Kathryn, she was bringing in fresh ingredients, clearly she makes it all from scratch, no mixes came in! This did not surprise me, we sampled a few different items to take home and ALL of them ranked extremely high in flavor and texture. Great portions for a great price!

Higher Grounds Coffee Shoppe & Bakery is a very cool place to hang out. A beautiful young women named Jade waited on us and she was exceptional! The atmosphere and decor makes me feel right at home. Thanks for the pie and hot tea!

I absolutely love this place! The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and the music was wonderful. I really enjoyed taking my work up there and hanging out. I will definitely be going back!

My friend and I met at Higher Grounds. We are both on the autism spectrum and wanted a nice place to chill and and discuss life on the spectrum. The music was a little too much for us so I went to the counter and asked if the music could be turned down. I hate asking for accommodations like this but since my friend and I were both having a hard time concentrating on our conversation I felt it would be fine to ask. The worker was so kind about it and even turned the music off for us the hour we were there! I went up after and thanked her for turning the music off and informed her we were leaving and she could turn it back on. She said "not a problem at all! Have a great evening!" Thank you so much for accommodating my friend and I so we could enjoy the coffee and goodies! The chocolate chip toffee cookie was my favorite!

Great coffee and pastries. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Perfect place to meet friends, relax with a book by the fire or have a meeting in one of their rooms. Our ladies group has enjoyed meeting here!
