This is by far one of my favorite steakhouse restaurants in the district. I love how professional Anthony is (he's the best) Steve makes the best "Hendrik's" lemon drop martini, then top that off with Jeremy's vocals and my evenings in the city are fulfilled! #lovemastros �
Best Restaurant I've ever been to in my life!! The food was incredible and the service was top notch! They had live music in the bar area and the singing amazing! Best dinner experience ever! You must try it.
Really great food and service. Wait staff very attentive. And the performers at the piano bar are very good. Just be prepared: it ain’t cheap.

Thanksgiving at Mastro's was incredible. The food was fantastic, but the service was outstanding! I have enjoyed many different upscale restaurants in WDC, but Daniel our waiter, DamIan the manager in training, and Stephen the General Manager made the day and experience extra special! We were celebrating our mom being out with us after recent surgery snd they made her feel like a Queen!! Nothing meant more to us than the attention given to her and the awesome meal. Stephen even ensured we had an early birthday dessert celebration for mom! We moved to the lounge after dinner to enjoy live music...Incredible talent there!!
Daniel and Stephen, we will be back because of the great food, but more so the incredibe hospitality and genuine care and concern given. Hsppy Thanksgiving to you all and thank you!

Myself and my husband planned a day out for our anniversary and decided to try Mastros for dinner. This was our first time here. Miguel was our water and he made sure we were taken care of and we had everything we needed for our meal.
We tried the bread basket, lime sushi roll, we both ordered steaks, mushroom & black truffle gnocchi, and Brussel sprouts with the bacon glaze. They gave us a complimentary cheesecake for our anniversary and we also ordered the brown butter cake. Both were delicious!!
It was the perfect dinner!! We will be back!!
Fantastic steak house! Great steaks cooked perfectly. Oysters on the half-shell were amazing! Truffled mushrooms and creamed spinach are great sides. The sides are large, perfect for sharing. Impeccable service. Great tasting drinks. This place can be a little pricey but it's great for special occasions.
Delicious!!! Fresh, amazing, and definitely returning. I had the pleasure of ordering the pork chop, and it was amazing. Came with an apple, pecan glaze. The lobster mashed potatoes were heavenly. And my Dream berry martini was sweet and tasty. Overall, amazing dining experience and excellent wait staff. Well be returning soon.
Took clients out to Mastro's on our last visit as a family to Washington DC and had an overall fantastic time at the restaurant. We have dined at the NYC location many times as well and have never had a bad experience at this establishment. The service on the particular night we visited the DC location was amazing, and so was the company, food, & wine list!
Mastro's is an absolute top shelf fine dining experience.
Yes they are expensive but they are absolutely worth it.Their prime strips are cut at almost 2 inches thick and just melt. If you have room the butter cake is heavenly.
We were fortunate to hear a woman sing on a Friday night her voice was amazing.
I want to thank Hannah and her team for taking care of us. She went out of the way to make sure even the under dressed guys wandering in had a special experience.
Mastro’s never disappoint. Everything is so enjoyable. The food the service is always great. I’ve been to this location 3x it never misses.
I have been to several other Mastro’s Steakhouse restaurants in other cities and they are always consistent with the service and the food. Everything was fantastic. All the food was really good, the spinach could have been seasoned just a tad bit more, but that is just my preference. The service is always fantastic And I will absolutely visit Mastro’s again.
Great food, steak was seasoned and cooked medium. Lobster was succulent, and mashed potatoes were sooooo good. Appletini is a must try, and it tastes like a green jolly rancher.

We were in the area celebrating a special occasion. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the service was unmatched. Stephen, Nick and Rice went above and beyond to ensure this celebration was memorable. Rice was our server, he made great recommendations and was extremely personable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I went there recently for a private event and was pleasantly surprised with the amazing service, delicious food, friendly staff and how well organized everything was. It was smooth and flawless evening! Thank you to the whole restaurant team for making it special for a big retirement/holiday event.
Came here for dinner on New Year’s Eve and was very impressed by the food and service. We ordered the clear lobster roll for our app which was great, highly recommended! For our main, we shared the porterhouse steak between 2 of us - it was cooked to perfection! Sides were sautéed asparagus and the gnocchi. We did have a hiccup with our gnocchi order - manager Steven rectified the issue and handled it with great care. Also the warm signature butter cake was phenomenal and is huge so perfect for sharing!

My husband and I come for our birthdays, anniversary & celebratory moments. We’ve been to the one in Chicago too and have NEVER been disappointed.
The steaks are always cooked to perfection and the accompanying butters (we did truffle & waygu) are delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes are thick and flavorful.
Is it your first time? Get the butter cake for dessert, you won’t be disappointed.
If you’re looking to try a new steakhouse & get a taste of fine dining in DC Mastros is a wonderful starter restaurant!

Wonderful Experience! What a difference a change makes. We had an absolutely wonderful experience here again. The drinks, appetizers and food was simply delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. The entire Staff was wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit. Shout out to the District Manager who heard my previous concerns and worked to make a difference. Highly recommended! Here are some pictures from our recent experience.

Both the Shrimp and Scallop appetizers were great. The steaks we ordered were to be Bone-in Filets and they were not. The drinks were outstanding. Our Waiter, however, was running a scheme to increase his tip by lying and saying that they had Specials of Bone-in Filet with Crab and it was complemented with Wagu Butter. Well, he ran our bill up to almost $1,600 with his additional add-ons. We paid an additional $50 for the crab and $15 for the (complimentary) butter. We discover the next day that Mastro’s never has Specials. This unscrupulous Waiter ruined a 70th Birthday Celebration.
