An Austrian dish, a Lebanese one, a Vietnamese one, a French one. Each executed with equal energy and poise. The mark of a chef at the top of his game. All couched in an unpretentious neighborhood spot. One of the best meals dollar for dollar in the city.

Clearly a new best in DC. Remember how good the old Proof was? You'll find that at Chloe. Why you ask? Same chef. Also some of the best foh alum from the area. All at a great price point. Tremendous value!

We were here tonight for pre dinner drinks. The bartender was very friendly and listened to our wishes. We had dinner else where, but ended up here at the end of the night. Vibe was great. Drinks were great and after hearing about our less than stellar dessert at the other place the dessert we had at Chloe was ah-mazing!! Totally recommend this place and for sure we will be back!

The whole fried fish and the cauliflower were straight up excellent. The ricotta dish and the chicken were also quite good. We'll be back! Oh, and they were incredibly vigilant about food allergies, which is a must for us now.

We’ve been twice. Chloe is absolutely amazing. The staff, the management, the chef and kitchen ... these folks know how to run a fantastic restaurant. The oysters, cauliflower, bok choy, the gumbo, white sausage ... all delicious. The whole fish and the pork chop were both phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back.

Not one bad plate. I loved the cod, the caramelized cauliflower, chicken, etc. The restaurant is not stuffy, it’s casual, and not too loud. The seats at the table are so comfortable we want to buy some.

It’s been a long time since I have seen a well known Chef working the line on a Sunday night. Everything reflected that commitment, food was fantastic, service was great. Bravo Chef Haidar Karoum and staff!

Love this place! We were seated at the bar top in front of the open kitchen so had dinner and a show! Mostly small plates on the menu. For two we had the ricotta, scallops, cauliflower, and chicken dishes - all were fabulous. Great ingredients cooked to perfection. Service was very friendly and attentive, looking forward to going back!

Food was amazing...one small complaint. One of our orders didn’t show up, we asked them to cancel it, it still showed up on the check, we had to send the check back to be corrected, they were mortified and apologetic. The food (all of it including dessert) was so good that I will overlook the gaffe.

Such a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal. Everything we ordered was so good, we wanted to lick the plate. I recommend going with a group of people rather than 2. We ordered the Hamachi crudo 10/10. Amazing. By far the best dish of the night! The mushrooms were a new item on the menu, and that was amazing as well. The chicken came out at the very end, which was a little disappointing as we were so full from the other 7 dishes we had already gotten. However it was super delicious. Definitely will be going back!

Everything was tasty, the drinks were strong, and the service was friendly. They forgot one of our desserts but that was okay. One of the food delivery guys made me crack up because he didn’t smile. Just did his job dropping off my dessert with a birthday candle. The plates are not too expensive and the main dishes (chicken or fish) are full size. The other dishes were okay size portions. The gnocchi and the salmon would fill you up.

Chloe is a recently discovered favorite of mine in The DC Navy Yards. The food is always perfectly cooked, with beautifully balanced flavors. The service is pretty good too, especially given how busy the restaurant always is. And, I love the lights and the ambience of their outdoor seating at night! Recommended Dishes: Botanical Dalliance (cocktail), Fresh Ricotta, Artisanal Cheese Plate, Spiced Veal Hummus, and Lemongrass Hanger Minute Steak.

Wow! Deserves every 5 of these stars! I arrived hours before my reservation because I was in the area and thought I would have to go back to my hotel to change into something nicer - it’s casual and accommodating and moved my reservation with no problem. The food was tapa style made to order - I ordered the pickled selection and hummus; I usually don’t eat hummus but I found myself eating it still even after the entree. Pork entree was over cooked for my liking but over great experience. Would definitely recommend

Back in the DMV for my Birthday & was told Chloe had some great Vegan options, here we landed first. The welcoming engagement, service, creative concoctions in a tapas style & prices was a winner overall. I tried just about all of the Vegan options - Caramelized Cauliflower, Crispy Fingerling Potatoes & the -Spiced Veal Hummus. I was truly satisfied with my selections, the preparation, presentation & taste. It's the Navy Yard, ride Metro if you can, yet parking is close by for $2/hour for the 1st four hours. Tiffany, our Server absolutely set the bar for fantastic service. Definitely worth the Michelin Star.

Update: stopped in on a Friday night and luckily got a seat at the kitchen counter. I love this place. Had the ricotta toast to start. So yummy with a drizzle of honey. Then had the gumbo, which was spicy and delicious. Finished off with the manchego cheesecake. I’m trying to cut back on sugar but this was so good I wish I hadn’t shared it. The last word drink is spicy and great. So delicious and so friendly. I liked every dish I tried tonight. Wine was great and service was super friendly too. This is second time I’ve sat at the bar, which is perfect, especially when a table isn’t available. Highly recommend!

Chloe came highly recommended by friends. There wasn't anything in the menu they particularly recommended, they said that's the great part about Chloe. You can order 3-4 items in the menu to have a meal between 2 people. That being said do yourself a favor and order the potato gnocchi and the fresh ricotta. Delicious! This was a great experience and glad to finally have tried a restaurant with a Michelin star!

I recommend brunch here. Many good options and nice ancient. I particularly enjoyed the crispy cauliflower, lemongrass chicken and stuff scramble with mushrooms.

I love variety so this place was amazing, lots of small plates to choose from and share. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly, the fingerling potatoes were like nothing I have ever had….phenomenal! The drinks were delicious although a little small. Would definitely go back!

Lovely experience dining at Chloe. Every dish we had was delicious but the star was definitely the Ahi Tuna Tartare. We ordered it again after everything and still forgot to get a picture, it was that good. Would definitely recommend trying any of their dishes.

Wow! We came here for a fancy dinner before a Nationals game and it was amazing! The server suggested we get 7-9 dishes for the 3 of us which worked out perfectly. Everything was delicious! Our favorites were the fingerling potatoes and ricotta cheese. Plus it was reasonably priced for the amount of food we got.

If it wasn’t for the dessert this meal would have been 5 starts. All of the small plates were on point and the crispy fish was outstanding. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was pleasant, the desserts were a huge disappointment. They charged us $14 for a micro slice of chocolate cake and the cookies weren’t worth whatever we paid because they flat, hard and dry.

Delicious. Have lived in navy yard for about a year and just visited for a special birthday. The food was excellent- cauliflower, falafel, salmon and pork. Tiffany was a great waitress and explained everything and gave fine recommendations. Will be back to try more on the menu

Came by on a Tuesday night. Was able to find a few seats at the bar and order full menu. Drinks were wonderful, bartender was great and the food was delicious. We had the pork chop and the penne pasta. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. This can be a great date night spot or a place to just hang out at the bar after work for drinks. Really loved the ambiance and the service.

What's good? Everything we have had. The fingerling potatoes were amazing, crispy, soft inside, and delicious. On my birthday, they had a delicious salmon tartare. The whole crispy fish was perfectly seasoned and fried, stuffed with a delicious rice. The gnocchi had an excellent sauce. The chicken was perfect, juicy. The sauce of the hanger steak was tasty. The ricotta cheese with bread was a good start. The seafood gumbo was good for a cold day, had a good kick. Menu is simple with plates intended to be shared, changing from small size to large as you go down there menu. Relatively pricey. On our first visit we spent about $170 for 3 people, including drinks.

If you want FANTASTIC food without the incredibly steep price tag, go here. Great atmosphere and even better service. But we were absolutely blown away by the food. Every single dish we got was delicious. We did 3 apps, 2 entrees, dessert and then got a couple different drinks to try. The La Lavande cocktail tastes like spring and goes perfectly with the Manchago cheesecake dessert. Floor manager (I didn't get his name but pretty sure he was a manager) was super nice and engaged us in genuine conversation vs just a drive by check in.
