It's a warm, no frills type of cafe where the food is simple and delicious. I come here quite frequently. Their burgers are pretty good and made to order. My favorite dish is the Shrimp and Grits. Luna does them in a way that is slightly unconventional (with asparagus and grit "cakes" instead of smooth grits). But it's still delicious and still feels like comfort food. You can also get breakfast all day here and their omlettes are pretty good and filling.
I had the sweet potato steak fries and chicken tenders. The location was convenient. The food tasty. Service was timely. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Overall would visit again.
Well this was a great find near to Dupont circle. Really great food and not expensive. Staff were attentive and the food choices are really good. Don't be put off on the look of the place just go in and enjoy
Thick French toast slices that weren't dry or overcooked. Plus they have breakfast available all day!

Good food, reasonable prices, friendly service. My fiancée came here and got the veggie chili cheese fries appetizer, I got the chicken fried steak, and she got the veggie lasagna. All the food was very good, and the portions were huge! As a huge extra plus, the music was cool but not too loud, the atmosphere was good for conversation.
We will definitely come here again :)
My husband and I showed up on a Saturday at 6pm and we were the only ones. We were skeptical but decided to give it a shot. He had pasta and I had a steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our food was great. Seasoned well! I'm giving it 4 stars because they played the same 5 songs over and over again! Otherwise it was great.

Excellent diner in the heart of Dupont.
Clean restaurant, attentive service. I just tried the most beautiful food in this planet: grilled shrimp and grits. I wasn't disappointed with this food. It was the most beautiful, georgeous meal. My husband was happy with his meal too. Fresh ingredients, great seasoning, cooked with love. Definitely going back again. Thanks
We stopped by for dinner. We were the only ones there when we arrived. The crowd followed us.
We had the sweet potato fries appititizer, which were excellent. I had a spinach and cheese omelete, that was everything an omelet should be, with fresh spinach. My wife had pasta with spinach and artichokes, that was also very good. All was good and affordable. Nice, friendly service.
Their sandwiches were amazing. The grilled chicken panini had some of the best pesto sauce I have ever had. My girlfriend says the portabello mushroom sandwich was the best sandwich she has ever had as well. The staff was super friendly and attentive and the ambiance was delightful. Definitely recommend!
We went to the Luna Grill & Diner for breakfast and were not disappointed. The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.
This is a great place to take your slam pieces in the morning after a night of getting completely wasted. So far I've taken multiple people here and they've loved it every time. The chairs are laughably cheap, but the food is actually good which is important if you show up stoned and ready to eat.
Food is amazing - staff friendly - quick service with friendly smile - I have been in a lot of restaurants and the cook here does an amazing job. So good. Whatever I order comes out perfect and delicious. Well deserved 5 stars.
