Enjoyed a hearty lunch today with the hubby: curried turkey salad and roast beef sandwiches were both tasty and fresh. Coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate cookies and coconut macaroons were tops! Take-out lunching looked to be a breeze for many Hill office staff, too. We'll be back! THX

Surprisingly low prices considering we were two blocks from the capitol building. The overall aesthetic is something between a French bistro and a cafeteria. You should definitely try it out!

This is a great place to grab a bite if you're near Capitol Hill. Food is always on point. You can order online, but expect to pay at least 10% more, even just for pickup so I just go in-person and order to-go. Seating is limited so I wouldn't recommend the place for large groups. But, never had any complaints about the food, it's always great. Also, parking is impossible in this area so don't try to dive here.

Foods are great. Cosy atmosphere inside. But quite a view of the DC on outside the cafe. Self-service.

A true DC gem visited by locals and others. We appreciated the conversations around us giving us a real sense of work amongst the House and Senate offices. For us this was a mid morning break and we enjoyed a simple coffee and egg sandwich. There are lots of different options on the menu all made to order. The pastries also looked good.

We enjoyed our food and time at Le Bon café. our drinks were delectable and well priced. The chocolate croissant and muffins were really yummy and definitely is somewhere you should stop for coffee when you are in Washington DC. The staff was nice. It is small indoors but they do have a decent amount of outdoor seating.

What a cute place! The espresso was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cute with old French jazz music playing in the background.

Lively French themed cafe with great food, within walking distance of the Capitol. Some indoor space, but several outdoor tables.

The atmosphere was overall lovely, but hard to enjoy with a lot of people. We must have caught a rush because people were cramped in, waiting in line and waiting for food. We had a long wait for our food and ended up having to rush eating it due to needing to make our next appointment. We did enjoy our food, but would have loved to have to rush eating it. Would still recommend checking this place out, but maybe not when you have certain hit times.

I ordered a Panini grilled chicken & roasted tomato. And I ordered Belgian waffle and a croissant and a blueberry scone. It took less than 10 minutes to full fill my order. And the Paninis tasted like they were made in heaven. The waffle was out of this world it’s like they were made out of my imagination and tasted better than I could dream to imagine. All that cost less than $32.

Food was very good and music ,it could use a good cleaning ,also we sat outside and were approached 2x by people asking for money . Service was very good too,but theres always room for improvement.

Delicious food, but service is kind of slow, don't order food here if you are in a rush. Also, there is just the one speaker inside and it is turned up much too high. Most of the tables are close to it making it unpleasant to sit inside. The volume is more reasonable at the counter. Sitting outside is nice (but the road is busy).

Persian cafe in the heart of Capitol Hill. Get the baked egg strata! Or for a sweet breakfast, the french toast. The coffee is also fantastic, recommend the caramel macchiato. Lovely atmosphere, you will see many different types of people from staffers to bigwigs to folks who live nearby. Note it is a small location so be ready to wait for your meal or a table especially on the weekends.

Very cute place but also rather small. If you come with a larger group you might have to wait but overall it’s probably better to grab and go. If you do sit down you won’t regret it. Their tea and coffees are amazing! and so are their pastries. One thing though, you will have no signal inside or around the cafe.

The food was utterly delightful, and the potato salad was delicious if a small portion. The sandwiches are enormous; I could only finish half of mine and was sad because it was so good. I loved the generous portion of greens.

Nice little cafe next to the library of congress Madison building. We had coffee and scones. Scones were excellent and the coffee/lattes were good. Counter service person was pleasant and the order was filled quickly. There is a small indoor space and a bit larger outdoor sidewalk seating space.

Truly one of my favorite cafes in DC. Definitely worth a stop especially before heading to Eastern Market. Their tomato soup (bisque) is my all-time favorite!

Homemade chai latte is perfect on a fall morning. I've only ever had breakfast here, but every food item I have tried has been amazing.
