Friendly service and great food in a lovely restaurant. We were here for a long weekend trip and our servers Chris and Paris were so nice. If you don't mind counter service, it's a much shorter wait. Great menu, eggs and pancakes were fluffy and chicken was delicious. Only thing I can say is that the coffee could be a little hotter when brought to me. Would definitely come back when we're in town again!

I've been a huge fan of The Coupe since the day it opened. It's always on the short list of places I *have* to take people when they come to town and it is my parents' favorite place in DC. It's so cozy and homey and lovely... and the food and drinks just happen to be amazing as well. The last two times I've gone in, I've been lucky enough to have the oh so handsome Rob as my waiter, which is just delightful. There's nothing quite like enjoying an afternoon at The Coupe with a friend, delicious food, and a good looking waiter. :)

I really have no idea how they got the whites on my eggs to be so fluffy. Magic. Superb place to end a long weekend trip with a fantastic dining experience!

My son and I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, the service, and the attention to detail ...some of the history of the bar is contained in a wooden closed cabinet in a back seating area (which I hope they keep when they remodel), with an old photo and old mixed drink recipe books to preserve the start up days! The seating areas are great too. The old metalurgy ceiling (it may be old and it may be retro, I'm not 100% sure) was great too.

Great lunch spot with a wide variety of sandwiches and all day brunch. Brussels sprouts are 1000/100.

I'm definitely going back to try their breakfast & lunch (They have a great Brunch Cocktail Menu). The servers certainly put their best foot forward and the restaurant itself looks like a perfect place to eat when the sun is up. Also, its at a great location; very convenient if you prefer to take the Metro like I do. Personally, I wasn't a fan of their Old Fashioned & I think there was a little too much char on the steak, but taste is subjective. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself and have a great time if you I hope I've steered you in the right direction.

We got the Brussels sprouts, a turkey and Brie burger, and the Coupe Bowl salad. Loved everything! Food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for dinner on a Saturday night, but we appreciated the quick and attentive service and enjoyed our nice table near the window.

This was one of my friend’s favorite place and i’m glad i was able to stop by. They serve breakfast all day!! The menu has a lot of different options including vegetarian and vegan. Service was great and the food was good too. Solid choice for breakfast and lunch.

In the spring, you can feast on cherry blossoms macarons! And Cherry Blossom infused lattes! Parking on the street! Also liked the Cherry Blossom decor! Highly recommend!

A solid array of comfort dining options against a modern diner vibe, coupled with warm and friendly service. I stopped in here for lunch and wasn't disappointed. I had to try their biscuits and gravy, an item I consider a bellwether for the rest of the menu. It was solid, not epic but really good and enjoyable and I loved the house made biscuit. I then had their breakfast burrito (scrambled egg, chorizo, hash brown, beans, cheddar, ranchero sauce, cilantro crema) and it was also solid, benefiting from a healthy dose of Chulula hot sauce. Service was great as mentioned, and I love the spacious layout with tons of booths to give it that modern diner feel. Patio seating is available too.

Great place to have coffee, a breakfast meeting, or just read a book. Spacious. Love when the windows are open on a nice fall or spring day.

Popped in here for breakfast the other day. I stepped out of my usual breakfast fare and ordered a delicious breakfast burrito. I was very impressed because the last experience here was memorable but not in a good way. Glad I gave it another shot. This smoothie that I had was absolutely refreshing as well. I will be back one more time just to break the tie. Fingers crossed.

The interior design and the outdoor seating are fantastic. It is clean and each table has enough room. It is a dog friendly restaurant described in Google map’s reviews, so we came here on Saturday morning. The waiter who assigned us a table in the outdoor seating was very nice and friendly, but unfortunately, the one who served us was less friendly. I would have gave five stars if he could be a little bit more friendly. I asked water for my dog and he seems not willing to do so. There were other dogs in the restaurant and they all got clean water and nicer water bowl. My dog Lucky did not have that privilege, unfortunately. I ordered Coupe Royale and it was great. The chicken sausages and hashbrown square are recommended. The latte art and animal crackers are cute.

The Coupe is very accommodating with eclectic menus. Whether two for breakfast or several for dinner, their menu has something for you. While thoroughly enjoying our breakfast; blueberry pancakes and lox & bagel, we noticed several people hit the doggie treat canister. The Coupe is very pet friendly. For later dinning the crispy Brussel sprouts, mushroom Reuben and squash and black bean tacos are must order selections. While The Coupe deals with restaurant difficulties; staff shortages and reduced hours, their kitchen prepares consistent, topflight fares. Kudos!

We had a group of six people and seating indoors at a part booth, part chairs large rustic table with great views and ample natural light. Several ordered warm drinks, enjoying the coffee, cappuccino, and Chai latte. Just know upfront, no free refills even on coffee. The Chai latte had a delightful froth and such a smooth, bodied texture. I felt so satisfied drinking it! The blueberry pancakes did not disappoint with a filling four stack, not the usual three. The tostadas make a hearty and healthy breakfast with avocado, tofu, scallions and more, but be ready for a medium spicy kick in the salsa. I think a tablespoon of corn would make this dish even better. Lastly, the rest of my group really enjoyed eating fried dark chicken, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Only recommendation was they needed more gravy, which the server brought when requested. Be prepared for a loud environment due to lots of chatting and concrete floors, and a possibility of a wait due to yummy options. No reservations accepted at the time we visited. Seating includes inside and outside tables plus a covered area outdoors. Great people watching with airy window views.
