No way around it, this place is a must-visit in DC. I've been going here since they opened in 2015; a great place to have a drink when picking friends up from Union Station late at night, always open late!
The cocktails are creative and delicious, and the menu is seasonally adjusted and always well executed.
Outdoor seating is nice but this is North Capitol after all so be wary of your surrounding -_-
In the past year I've been living in Noma and so have been visiting at least 1-2x per week and it is ALWAYS a pleasant experience and I am not easily pleased.
Trivia is fun but it gets packed very quickly so show up early!
Nick, the proprietor is awesome and accommodating, staff is super friendly in general.
I'm leaving a review since we're moving across town, I realized I probably will still be a regular here, regardless! *****10 stars*****
My kind of local neighborhood pub. Good beers, good food and a really attentive and friendly staff. Stepped outside my arena a bit and tried their 2 vegan burgers. Delicious! Would stop here again when in town.
This is definitely my new go-to neighborhood bar. Came in on a Sunday afternoon with my friend and we kept commenting how much we liked the place. Ambiance was cozy and the music was chill, but upbeat. We expected to stop in for a beer or two, but ended up ordering multiple rounds of food (try the brussels sprouts & cauliflower apps!!) and stayed for hours. Waitress was attentive, friendly, and exceeded all of our expectations. Thanks for such an awesome experience!
I came here with my wife on opening night. Drinks were absolutely fantastic. Food was outstanding. I got a meal more in the upper-scale bar food echelon whereas my wife got her "healthy" meal of purple cabbage salad (so delicious!) and a fancy vegetable spaghetti - the best of both worlds. Service was top notch as well. If drinks, meals, ambiance, and service are all on-point at a new establishment (which is rare) - I become a regular. Simple as that. Looking forward to giving P&P more of my business this summer!
One of our faves in DC; 300 yds from our kids place on Q! Great beer, great vibe, great food!!
Great food, atmosphere, and service! I would absolutely recommend. Came here three times during my trip to DC.
Cool corner bar with a nice variety of food. Our waitress was amazing. Food was delicious...had the black bean burger because it was Good Friday and loved it! Even cooler was we were with my sister who is from LaPorte, Indiana...so is the owner, Nick!
Excellent food and service! Taylor's Port was awesome! I definitely recommend this place ❤
great drinks, great food, lovely people. it's one of the best neighborhood bars in DC. not full of itself or too classy, The Pub keeps it real. i love it.
Fantastic food, friendly and patient bartenders, awesome music at a good volume, and generally a very chill crowd.
Great neighborhood spot. Cozy with great food and drinks.
Fell in love with the pumpkin macaroni and cheese and the Heidi was delicious and it was nicely cooked, also the waitstaff were very attentive great place, small and cozy
Great atmosphere, food is great, the staff is awesome!
So good the cauliflower tempura was amazing! Good beer selection too - fun vibe.
Delicious goodness known as Heidi Chicken maybe? Idk, but that huge sandwich with the most perfect brioche bun was everything. Thick-sliced bacon and thin-cut fries added to the deliciousness. Nice staff, very clean venue. I pay attention to everything. Thanks for my boulivardier! Happy holidays ☃️

Divey speakeasy vibe with middle of the road cocktails and gastro pub fare, delivered with friendly service.
We sat in the downstairs Side Door speakeasy of sorts, which felt more like a dive bar rather than a classic speakeasy, but not in a bad way. Our server was a one-man bartender and server and held it down with a full room which was admirable.
The food was mixed. The wings were solid, the peppers decent, the chicken sandwich disappointing (oddly tough chicken, maybe not the best quality) and the sausage quite tasty.
Enjoyed the popular Blue Milk (Suntory Roku Gin, Calpico, Blue Curacao, Falernum, Lemon, Cardamom, Orange Bitters) but not the Ten Sins (Mezcal Banhez, Tequila Rooster Rojo Blanco, Elderflower, Yellow Chartreuse, Dry Vermouth, Campari).
Nice local spot, but nothing worth crossing neighborhood lines to get to.
We really enjoyed this place. We had the Heidi Chicken sandwich, Arugula salad with steak, and Blistered Shishito peppers. All were very good. The peppers were fantastic. Service was great. Nice local place with cool decor. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: We went back again. Food and service was good. They now have empanadas that are really good. UPDATE: We went back a 3rd time. The Heidi Fried Chicken sandwich was much smaller than before. It was okay but would probably order something different next time. We also had the zucchini fritti and wings. Both were good.
Great neighborhood bar with friendly and quick service! I haven’t had much of the food but the fried chicken sandwich and fries is one of the best bar food dishes I’ve ever had! The way they cook the chicken and fries (pan fried rather than deep fried) gives them such a fresh taste. Great beer selection too!
The most fun place around DC! In here you can find all in one delicious food, unique and tasty cocktails, great atmosphere and super cool friendly staff.
10/10 place if you're in the NoMa neighborhood. Made a reservation for the side door and got drinks and dinner. The food was delicious, high quality bar food. The staff was all very nice and the place overall had a homey feel. Will absolutely be returning. Loved it!
Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, great food and awesome drinks. We left right before they started playing trivia, the place was filling up for the event. I hear there’s also a speakeasy in the basement on the weekends… ;)
Great Restaurant!! This Restaurant is in the city area and offers indoor and outside seating!! The menu is rather small but the food and drinks were great!! The wait staff were friendly and professional!! The restaurant was also clean and well presented. The bathrooms are coolly decorated too with people sending pictures in of there family pets in to be featured on the wall. Overall great!
This place is amazing. The atmosphere is very nice, and the food is excellent. My wife and I go here every week, and enjoy it every time. The tempura cauliflower is especially good, and well worth trying if you get a chance. Finally, the staff is outstanding: courteous, attentive, and friendly, to name just a few of their many positive qualities. I highly recommend coming here if you get the opportunity.
We went to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant just after everything had reopened for outside dining after the quarantine. The service was friendly (as always) and you can tell they were excited to be back serving guests at the restaurant. I had the crispy pork sandwich with fries and the salad with rosemary dressing. The sandwich was seasoned and cooked so perfectly and was just a nice surprise for how it was served. The fries were hot and seasoned with just the right amount of seasoning. The salad was so good! I really loved the hint of rosemary throughout the salad with the dressing. I am so glad I added that on. This has always been a neighborhood favorite and we are just glad they are back and open for us to come back and eat out!
Very friendly servers and a well stocked bar. They have two brands of Uncle Nearest whisky! A fun trivia night on Monday hosted by Colin of geeks who drink.
A great local spot for the Eckington area. I saw a sandwich that had guacamole on it on the menu and knew I needed to figure out how that flavor combination would work out. Turns out it was a fairly flawless pairing! It might’ve been a different story if the guac has a bit more flavor but still a tasty sandwich. The side of sweet potatoes was colorful with three different kinds but they weren’t particularly appetizing or fully cooked. The beer selection at this place was phenomenal! With selections from across the nation, I was able to find and enjoy a beer from a Kansas City brewery I had worked at.
Very busy for a weekday, which is a good sign. Burger was bussin!
It's a fine spot for a quick bite or drink in the area. One star off for all the sugar on your menu (pretty much every meat dish has some sweet sauce) but overall it's good. It's a regular quick stop for us!
Excellent sandwich omg best ever. Decent service. Wonderful menu with a huge range of drafts, micros, and wines. Outdoor seating available.
We sat at the bar and enjoyed our lunch and beverage! The bartender was excellent! The bar wall is full of amazing liquors to try. We had "The Heidi" and the blistered Shishito Peppers, fabulous! What a great place to visit!
Such a great brunch spot! The outdoor patio is pup friendly (and the bathroom inside is a must see for dog lovers haha). The biscuits and gravy with fried chicken was TO DIE FOR. So yummy! Staff was super friendly and helpful.
