Came here for dinner and drinks. The mezcal last word is really tasty and overall the drinks are nice and strong. The food I thought was decent, an okay place to try some Greek food. I had the chicken kebab and I wish they had more vegetables! It was an overwhelming amount of chicken and not enough flavor for me but I did love the veggies. My friends had a rack of lamb they devoured and their burger which was just average. If the restaurant is busy it gets loud but it is conveniently close to the metro. Would come here again for drinks especially if not at a busy hour.

Came here recently for dinner on a Thursday—we had reservations but the restaurant wasn’t packed so was seated right away. Heads up, street parking is a big difficult around the restaurant. Overall food was good. For starters, I enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura! The Pan Fried Crispy Pork Belly was a bit disappointing, was very bland. For entrees, would recommend both the Lamb Chops and Chicken Kebab! For desserts, the Chocolate Lava was delicious. And the service was great.

Somewhat pedestrian cuisine, excellent service, and unremarkable ambience make this not the most ideal of outings. Also, it's a far cry from New American cuisine, more of the Mediterranean variety with kebabs, souvlaki, kefte, etc. We started with the Honey Feta Cheese (Greek feta, filo dough, sesame seeds, organic honey) which was spectacular, but it went downhill from there. Definitely the must try appetizer. Next was the Kefte (beef and pork meatballs) and they were ok, just ok. No memorable flavor but well made.. The Greek salad (Greek Authentica (tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, red onions, kalamata olives, greek feta, capers) was a fine one, but fairly mundane as greek salads go. The Pan Fried Crispy Pork Belly (lime glaze) was disappointing. Not very juicy or flavorful, underwhelming as pork bellies go. The cocktails were amateurish, would definitely pass there. Our server was excellent; friendly and knowledgeable, she was the highlight of the evening.

Mazi DC is easily one of my favorite restaurants in DC! It’s got an incredible waiting staff, flavorful dishes made with fresh ingredients, and last but not least - a reasonable priced menu (compared to DC standards). That’s a rare collection of qualities to find in most eateries across DC.

What a great find during our trip to DC! Beautiful ambiance and friendly, helpful staff. Loved everything we ordered, and that's saying a lot bc my kids are picky when ordering off the adult menu. Drinks were great too! Next time would like to try the fish

Went for my Birthday Dinner and loved every second of it! They were extremely accommodating with our reservation since we didn't all show up at once and that was a bonus. Our server was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. If I could, I would have shook the chief's hand because the food was a 20/5. Also, the decor was really inviting and gave a slightly upscale feel! All and all I highly recommend this hidden gem!

I was debating between 4 and 5 stars. The waitress was professional and friendly and the food was delicious. But there were some Minor stuff that they can improve, like removing salad plates before you serve entree and a spoon for a pasta dish when the food was served and a plate or a bowel for shells when a seafood dish was served. Recommend seafood pasta!

The feta cheese appetizer was one of the best Appetizers I have ever had! Service was amazing and friendly! Prices were very fair for dc area and amount of food provided.

I had my birthday dinner here. The food and drinks were nice. My guest liked it. The employees were nice and organized too. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance but it was kind of small.

Went to Mazi with some friends for a birthday dinner. Ambience and service was quite good. I ordered a Bourbon Mule which I have had before ...the taste was a bit off so I wasn't a huge fan. However the lamb burger I had was delicious and my friends also enjoyed their meals particularly the lamb chops. Price is a bit high for meal sizes but if you want to splurge a bit...its a good night out

Indubitably, the lamb burger and side of fries from the Italian restaurant in question were nothing short of gastronomical euphoria. The savory succulence of the perfectly cooked lamb patty, with its delectable char and tender juiciness, was a veritable symphony of flavors that danced on the palate with each bite. Moreover, the accompanying side of fries, with their crispy golden exterior and fluffy interior, were a culinary marvel in their own right, providing the perfect complement to the rich and robust flavors of the burger. Indeed, this epicurean masterpiece was a testament to the culinary prowess and attention to detail of the chef, who expertly crafted a dish that not only satisfied the appetite but elevated it to new heights of gustatory delight. In short, this lamb burger and fries were nothing short of a gustatory tour de force that left a lasting impression on the taste buds and the mind alike.

A really nice place for lunch. The service was great and my friend and I really enjoyed our food. My lamb burger was large, juicy, and delicious and my friend enjoyed her Mediterranean salad. Nice and clean, tables not too close together, so we felt very comfortable dining in. And beautiful fresh flowers at every table.

I came on a Tuesday. I was early for my 6P reservation but was seated right away (it was not busy at the time). Food was good (NY Strip, chicken kebabs, and Chilean sea bass). We also had the Brussel sprouts and pork belly for starters. The potatoes that came with the NY Strip were a little lemony for my taste, but otherwise everything was great. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake. Only downside to this place is that it is one block over from McPherson Square...

Great food. Even the complimentary bread and butter was amazing. I was the last diner there, and I'm guessing the staff was chilling out. But they were sitting at a table near mine and chatting loudly, which dampened the experience for me. I'm taking away one star for that, but I will definitely go again.

Delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere I would recommend listening to your server ~ all his recommendations were amazing. The honey feta was soo good and the lamb meatballs I loved the most. I would come back over and over if I lived here.
