Got reservations for 5:30 on a Wednesday. Decent crowd, I'm sure during the baseball season this place gets packed. Tables are family-style, but front of house still was kind enough to seat my party of two in our own little section. Waiter also was friendly and helpful. We ordered a pizza, mac and cheese, and some fries to split. Everything came out timely and warm. I will say, I loved the pizza crust, truly was great. Good local beer selection as well.
Would come here again for sure.
I come here after work and have not been disappointed! They have a changing menu depending on the time of day and day of the week. Sally is my favorite bartender; she’s always super helpful and bubbly!
Unique drinks and tasty food! We usually go her before or after a Nats game. It can get crowded but i have never had an issue here. It is a little pricey, but the quality of their food/drinks is up there so it is worth it. Only down side is they do not have a wide selection of beer, but what they do carry is very good.
Good happy hour specials, Nats pre-game spot. Great place to stop in for snacks and drinks before the game. $5 bud cans, and various small plates. The fires cheese, steak and cheese, and personal pizzas.
Excellent place to start off your National’s Baseball experience. Good food, outstanding drinks, wear your game jerseys and possibly get a discount on game day.
Super friendly staff, great happy hour deals each day, and the pizza was fantastic!
I love this place. The food and drinks have been top notch every time I've come and it is close by which is another plus. Today I went for brunch, and things were definitely not as smooth as usual, but I have to give props to the team there for making sure we got taken care of after a subpar experience. I noticed they gave the same type of great customer service to our neighboring table. Always great to see a place take its reputation and good service seriously. I'll definitely keep coming back or ordering their delicious pizzas to take home for a lazy night in.
Really great spot by the stadium for a drink and bite. During nice weather they open up the outdoor side of the bar, making for a fun and lively environment. Good selection of on tap beers as well as a good variety of liquors. The pizza here is also very good, with a couple of creative topping combinations. Definitely recommend stopping by before or after a game, or just for a happy hour drink.
Oh my word!! My hubby and I took a road trip for our anniversary and this was our last stop. By far my favorite stop of the whole trip. I am pregnant and ordered “any mocktail” our waiter suggested... BEST drink in a LONG time. Beautiful too! Ate a Brooklyn style pizza, blown away. Can’t say enough good things. Good atmosphere, dog friendly, great staff. 10/10!!!
Just made a post-game visit to Declaration and the experience was great! We were at a high-top table, and the place was fairly busy, but April came over from behind the bar after a very short wait to take our orders. Delicious beers, really good pizza, vibrant atmosphere, and fantastic service by April = I’ll be back!
Stopped around lunchtime on a Saturday prior to the big snow. Service was great but some issues with the price and food. Pizza was very good but $2.75 extra for pepperoni on a pie that starts at $16! I added fries as I thought the menu had them priced at $3. Bill showed $8 and they were basically deep-fried twice (maybe the reason for the extra charge). Local craft beer from Atlas which at their brewery would go for $5, maybe $6. Here it cost $8. Bill for one person with tax was $32! Tip add another $7. My second time here but everything is overpriced. I get it, it's D.C. but I was one of maybe three customers. Cocktails start at $12, go up as high as in the $20 range. If you go, be prepared to spend $$-$$$. Too many other places to try for me to return.
Came in for a drink before a Nats game and ended up ordering way more food then I should have because everything looked and sounded amazing. Highly recommend the Roger Sherman pizza and Eggplant Croquettes. Service, decor and ambiance were wonderful.
Above and beyond service. Our server was extremely attentive, and even anticipated our thoughts and needs before I could ask. Restaurant was perfectly clean, drinks and happy hour are awesome, but I’m knocking a star off because they charge $17.76 for a pizza. I get that pizza is their thing, but it better be out of this WORLD if I’m being charged $18 for a pizza that serves 1.
