So cute!! Highly recommend the sugar brioche!! It is light and airy and fluffy and sweet. The choco crunch is definitely for Nutella lovers, but was a little too sweet (I know that sounds strange to say of a dessert but the sweetness of the outer layer overpowered the hazelnut flavor within). The chocolate cake is very dark and rich. Hot chocolate is not thick like you would expect from a European style menu but it's still okay. Can't wait to try their non-dessert menu items!

This lovely establishment was located just around the corner from our hotel. During our eight-day stay in DC we visited frequently and were never disappointed. The staff were great. They were always very welcoming and friendly, and the service was consistently good at the counter. The salads were generous size and fresh, and the seeded roll with it was a delicious meal. All the sweets and bakery items were so so so good. For breakfast, I would recommend the Avocado toast and the Croissant egg sandwich. Good thing they don't have a location in my home town.

Now Maison Kayse in DC, excellent option to eat French food at a low cost and high quality and excellent service, is friendly to go with our pet. The food is delicious, you can buy handmade bread and fresh desserts, the coffee is really good and the tea is brought from France, the Brazilian Detox seems the best. in a perfect location, close to National Mall. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This bakery is two parts, a dining room and more bakery/self service area. The sandwiches and pastries are excellent. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the taste measured up to the atmosphere, look, and price. Rarely is French pastry well made in the US, and this restaurant clearly meets the mark. I wish we had one close to home.

Visited once by accident! I am convinced to go back. Got an Americano, tasted very good. The pastries were good too, avg. $6. Packaging was nice for eclairs. Total bill: $14.

I loved this place! I had a croissant and cappuccino and the whole experience made me very nostalgic of the time I spent in Paris. I hope I will be able to come back soon!

Tried the bakery section as I was full from earlier brunch and stumbled upon this place as walking by. Like the ease of the place to see and order quickly and to be able to find a sit by the window for some chat..will go back for the sit down section of the restaurants another time and will update.

So lovely! For their to go selections you need to be in the store to see what they have, as the menu online is for their restaurant. But fear not, even their "fast food" is far from subpar. The flavors and presentation was so sleek and enthralling that I'll definitely be back.

Im not a coffee aficionado , but I do enjoy visiting and experiencing coffee shops, but it is actually pretty rare that I get the opportunity to go to one and enjoy french music with a lemon tart ♥️ P.s : lemon tart very recommended!!

The place is beautiful, clean and highly maintained. I am only giving it a 4 stars for the following reasons: the cheese&ham croissant wasn't the best one I've ever had. Why? Well, it's salty and they should consider heating the dish in a toaster instead of a microwave. Not sure if that is what they used but if it would've been heated through a toaster, the pastry would have been flaky, could've had a "fresh" texture and not "soggy like ", lastly the presentation was NOT appealing (see pic) but it wasnt the end of the world either. The other reason was the regular coffee. It was okay. Not fantastic. Maybe I had a slight higher expectation on the coffee's quality and taste given the looks of the place. I will definitely come back and give it a second chance and also get the opportunity to try one of their sweet pastries that look so amazing. Congrats again for your opening in the DC area!

It's good but pricey. I often get a snack or beverage here. I've had the takeout salads but haven't really sat down to eat. All I can say is that the bakery/cafe portion is nice and cute but nothing to write home about. I would stay away from the little packets of cakes and treats they have in front of the register. The two times I've gotten them, they've been very dry. The bread here is also good but not amazing. Just your standard cafe bakery with nicer salads and a price point to match.

I was so happy when both DC locations opened. I frequently visited a NY NY location and was thrilled when they opened in DC. Location was very clean and well organized. The staff was polite. The options on display were amazing. I have tried pistachio and coffee flavored eclair and absolutely loved both of them.

Really delicious with a wide range of pastries and snacks. Sure it's pricy but I think their tiny cakes are worth the price. Delicate, delicious, and buttery! I like the chocolate croissants and little sugary pastries you get six of. Sometimes I get seven and it's awesome.Their olive bread is great too. You can tell by the crispy crust of the bread that's it's baked with care, and the croissants are flaky and fresh. A great bakery.

A Paris staple right here in DC. I love French pastries and cute little cafes like this where you can sit and get a nice cup of coffee with a fresh croissant and enjoy some peace and quiet. I have stopped in a few times and have always been greeted by someone while looking at the pastry case. The pastry case is very overwhelming so don't feel bad about not knowing what to pick. The spinach and cheese croissant is quite good and they will heat it up for you. They can be a little doughy/soggy with all the cheese and spinach inside but I really like these. The coffee is pretty standard here but it is roasted well and doesn't taste burnt, which is often the problem I have with other shops like La Colombe and Blue Bottle. Overall an enjoyable experience.
