I really love Bullfrog Bagels. They're a great neighborhood spot, easy for takeout and their bagel sandwiches are great. The hang-up tends to be their service and dine-in, which all seems very ad-hoc. Their dining room is a converted bar space that seems like it would be 10x better if there was a bit of investment in it. It's also generally unclear whether it's OK to sit, whether to order at the counter/wait for a server (which sometimes happens)? I've been here enough to get the process, but it would really benefit from some more forward front-of-house organization.

Seriously a great bagel shop, friendly staff, quick service even with the line. I ordered the house smoked salmon with extra capers and got myself an orange juice. That bagel was great. It was like double stuffed cream cheese, nice layer of salmon. Thick piece of tomato, I was in heaven it was just right and you had a nice crunch when I put into the bagel, I love the name bullfrog, but the place should be called heavenly bagel because I was in that space. Lol Thank you guys for the great bagel, a new friend recommended this place to me and I will definitely recommend it to others.

The bagel sandwiches are stuffed! I had the turkey avocado bacon sandwich, and it was delish. The Reuben and bacon egg and cheese were both tasty as well.

This bagel shop has excellent bagel sandwiches. The bagels are fresh and soft. That must be why they sell out of their most popular ones by around noon. When we walked in they only had plain and everything bagels left. But that was just fine because the amount of meat and quality of the meat made my tummy happy. Oh and the hummus is tasty with a robust flavor. If you ask nicely they may sell you some to take home! The customer service is awesome but there usually is a bit of a wait. Good food takes time!!!

Hands down the best BEC in the city. Wonderful bagels (including bialys, which you don't see much in the DMV), perfectly cooked eggs, and a warm and cozy but also quite lively space to nosh in if you don't feel like eating your bagel as you walk back down H Street. Gets very busy so order ahead!

My go-to bagel spot since moving to NE DC a year ago. The bacon, egg, and cheese bagel is my personal favorite. You can easily find your own with their endless options. As far as the space is concerned, it seems to be a good spot for remote working or meeting up with a friend for a quick bite/coffee. Lastly, the service is wonderful.

Great bagels - use fried egg on the bacon egg and cheese instead of scramble but still solid. Bagels are soft on the inside and very flavorful. Love the self serve coffee bar. Wasn’t that bad crowd wise around 9am on a Saturday . One of the better bagels in the district

Best Filipino food and the service atmosphere in the H st corridor. Took the family for the first and the grandkids did not want to leave. They were the critics saying it's as good as grandma and guest what? Grandma agrees and she is very picky. It's our little secret in NE DC

I actually Ordered My Bagels through Uber Eats so this review is only on the Bagels that I Received which were AMAZING.. would definitely order again, if I have the time I would visit the shop. I ordered their Pastrami as well the Lox.. Check out the pics! The bagels are as good as they look 💯💯💯 @morircomiendo

Y’all. Listen. If you don’t want to wait or have zero patience this is not your spot. But if you want some delicious bagel sandwiches or breakfast/brunch. This is the best spot on H Street. For me, it’s worth traveling across the city for. It’s a tight squeeze and always crowded. Parents bring their strollers, hung-over 22 year olds bring their sunglasses, and everyone has to bring the wallet... not the cheapest bagels... The fact that one day I will not be walking distance from this place is heart breaking. Please stop reading this and go get a bagel sandwich... and get one for me too, please. Bacon, Egg, Cheese on Everything (add avocado).

Bullfrog Bagels is an H Street institution, which you'll clearly see any Saturday morning when it's packed to the gills with eager bagel lovers. Known for their bagel sandwiches, they have a wide-offering from lox, to pastrami, to brisket, and more. Don't be scared away by the long line either! That's what means it's good! My recommendation is to bring a friend and split the sandwiches in half to share so you can taste what they have on offer. I'm excited to keep going here to test out the rest of the menu. My only hope is that they're able to expand in this space. The bar they had been sharing the space with -- Star and Shamrock -- recently closed down (RIP), limiting the room they currently have in store.

Best smoked salmon bagel in the city! They just get it... I've been to most bagel places around DC (some over hyped and others simply status quo). Aside from a really good bagel they also know how to properly stack a bagel 🙌🏼 If you're on the fence about which location to hit (Eastern market or H street), pick H street- it's a lot bigger. Both will probably have lines so if you're too good for lines, feel free to help yourself to the more than plentiful run-of-the-mill bagel shops around the city. If not, bring a friend and wait it out. It's worth it 😉 My personal favorite: smoked salmon blt (add onion) on toasted everything bagel 👌🏼

This is a great place for breakfast. I have the egg cheese bacon on a raisin and cinnamon begel. It was so delicious. I have it every time I go to DC
