What we ordered was great. Steak and lamb ragu on tagliatelle. The amaro manhattan and the merlot was good as well.
The place is cute and the patio is adorable! The waiters are very friendly and pretty easy to flag down when needed. I got the gnocchi and one of the cocktails. Both were good, but not amazing. I felt it was a bit overpriced, but I would definitely give it another try because of the great atmosphere and excellent waiters.
Best ribeye steak in town. Grilled perfectly. And the price point is to kill for! I am here all the time and they know that's what I am having. I come often with my 9yo and they bring food at lightening speed. The wine selection is amazing and the server is very knowledgeable
I picked up food to go here tonight. Though I did not dine at the restaurant, the space is cool. They also have outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The service to just pick up the food was quite friendly. Now to the most important thing. The food was delicious! My guests enjoyed the pesto gnocchi. The fennel salad was very nice. The various brushettas were fun to try. I hope I have a chance to dine here in person.
Been here a few times for dinner and brunch. This is a very nice restaurant with great ambiance. The drinks are good, however, the brunch cocktails could be slightly improved. The food has been delicious and the staff pretty friendly. It is a nice restaurant to have in the neighborhood.
Maple is hands down my favorite restaurant in Columbia Heights. I've never had a bad meal here. The pastas are all fabulous (particularly the lamb ragu and the pesto), as are the appetizers, with burrata as the standout. The wine selection is not extensive, but I'm always impressed with what the server recommends. They have a great cocktail program as well - a recent hit on my last visit was a hot cider-based cocktail. I'm so excited they've expanded their space but still maintain the restaurant's small, cozy charm. I can't wait to try out the back patio in the spring!
Maple was fantastic. A true neighborhood gem, great for date night or friends or special occasions or just because. Pastas are perfectly done; housemade gnocchi is excellent. Fish is fresh and delicious. Wines are unique and adventurous; servers offer guidance with deciphering uncommon varietals. True to its namesake, the bar itself is made out of a gorgeous slab of maple, as are many of the shelves above the bar. The restaurant is tiny and often bursting at the seams. Sit at the bar for fast, accommodating service from the delightful bartender. We loved Maple and can't wait to go back.
The small space makes Maple a very cozy restaurant and a great date spot. I came here on a Tuesday with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly surprised that they offer half priced wine that night. They've got a great selection of bruschetta with a variety of interesting toppings. I ordered the Lamb Ragu, which was absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender and flavorful and worked really well with the tomato olive sauce. Great service too.
Came back here after not having visited for a couple or years and was surprised at how little the menu had changed. That being said they had a few new off menu seasonal specials and a rotating pasta which I hadn't seen before. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice for a date or dinner with a small group.
The Bruschetta are great for apps, I really liked the sweet chevre one. Wine selection is solid - I'd reccomend the Langhe Rosso. We had the lamb ragu tagliatelle and the gnocchi. The ragu was a little sweeter than I'd liked but the pasta was cooked perfectly. The gnocchi was much better and I'd highly recommend ordering it. The espresso chocolate truffle torte was delicious, especially with a scoop of vanilla gelato. Overall Maple is a solid little local eatery, and worth a visit.
Really awesome food and service! We came on a Saturday night and it was relatively busy, but no wait. It was pretty cold out, so I suppose that's expected.
We loved everything from the drinks and appetizers to the dinner and dessert. The service was equally awesome. I highly recommend the Short Rib Panini and the burrata appetizer.
I love coming to Maple! Menu isn't super extensive but I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. A great date spot, and one of my favorite brunches around. Service is always excellent, too!
We always go back to the Maple. Excellent wine selection. (Now they're serving chilled reds for summer.) Casually chic atmosphere. Service just right. Steak is always good. New menu item scallops are divine. Dessert - rhubarb-raspberry crumble with vanilla gelato is off the charts scrumptious.
Amazing neighborhood spot. We are so lucky to have Maple so close to our house. Their pastas and paninis are delicious as are their wine choices. I especially love to try the flight specials that they often offer. If you can nab a seat out on the sidewalk or in their new expanded garden, even better. They also have great happy hour specials.
The food was very good here, but my drink took so long that I had been served my food and about halfway done before it even came. It was nice of them to comp the drink, though. Good brunch food, and once we did all have our drinks we liked them.
GREAT PLACE FOR A DATE! I stopped by for the first time and was led to a patio in back. The Patio was intimately lit with string lights, decorated elegantly with wall-mounted and well maintained planters. and the air was filled with gorgeous music - the ambiance was perfection! The drinks and craft beer selection was good, the food was great.
every dish is just amazing. Great cuisine and wine selection. Atmosphere is also wonderful and the whole team are client oriented and fun. This restaurant has become one of my favorites in DC.
