Anybody who has lived in Afghanistan or Turkey will be delighted to meet the Uyghur cuisine presented here. The dishes are delicious, featuring interesting (in a good way) chewy noodles, excellent tangy uses of lamb and beef, and extensive vegetarian options. Remarkable thick lentil soup! A nominal beer list is compensated for by a worthy roster of inventive cocktails with many virgin options listed at the bottom of the page. Happy hour ends at 8 pm. Delightful maitre d' / waiter who is an excellent ambassador for his homeland and cuisine. Very reasonable prices. We're going back as soon as we can!

I'm obsessed with this place. Best noodles I've ever eaten, no lie. Such unique warm flavors, friendly service and non-pretentious vibe. We go here several times a month!

One of my favorite restaurants in DC! They introduced me to Uyghur cuisine, which I find wonderfully unique and exceptionally delicious! I’ve had the korma chop with lamb and mom’s laghman. The noodles are the best. There’s that (which they are well known for) and a good variety more on the menu! The vegetables and all other ingredients are fresh and well blended with great flavors that cater to my aversion to super hot spices. Moreover, the atmosphere is quaint and quiet, and the service is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend you eat here! P.S. I love that it’s literally one step away from the Cleveland Park metro stop!

What a charming, cozy spot for a delicious bite to eat. I love that it’s close to the metro. We were seated and greeted by the friendly staff. My friend and I had ourselves a lovely feast! The Shrimp Korma, Fried green beans, and the Rib Kebab were our faves. The tea was a great palate cleanser between bites. Would highly recommend this unique cuisine!

First and foremost, I will definitely come back here to try more dishes. I also found the price to be affordable since nearby restaurants tend to be overpriced. I ordered the fried calamari and beef korma chop during my stay. I was really wowed by the fried calamari—the spices and the breading were perfection. It was probably the best fried calamari I’ve had ever. For the beef korma chop, I thought it was good. Did it wow me? No. Overall, I rate this overall visit a solid 9 out of 10.

The food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. All of the food was flavorful and fresh, and the waiter was very patient in giving recommendations. This was my first time eating Uyghur cuisine, and I must say I was not disappointed at all. All my friends and I plan to come back regularly.

It was our first time in a Uyghur Restaurant and we had such a great experience. The food was very good, we ordered the Sui Rou Laghman, but if you want some spicier as my husband he asked for the hot chilly oil which was very good and the dessert called The Dolan Cake it was one of the best dessert I’ve ever tried in my life. And yes they have a coffee Machine (Brand: illy), so I order a cappuccino which was amazing. The service was outstanding, the manager “De” he was so nice and professional ! The place is very cozy and welcome. Certainly we will be back!

Delicious noodles (spicy!), lamb, bread, rice, tea with a bit of spice (it was comforting), and deep fried pie. The place is located right at Cleveland metro. The place is pleasant. Staff is a bit distracted at times but sweet. The Uyghur specialties are really good. I liked the special salad which looks like a cucumber salad but has a sesame seed oil and vinegar dressing that is enchanting. The pasta sauce is chunky and surprisingly spicy (not spicy but with a bit of spice — depends on your tolerance). The desserts are some you might expect like baklava but the honey cake was the best.

Very lovely experience! It’s located right outside Cleveland park metro station. Our server was great, the food was delicious and very flavorful!! I got the honey chicken with spring rolls and naan bread, and baklava for dessert. I highly recommend the orange tea, it’s delicious and light. Would definitely go again.

Food was fabulous. They asked for the level of spicy to the guest. We had requested for medium spicy and it was perfect for us. All the food were halal, I confirmed it by asking them at the very beginning. Roadside parking was available at the time of our visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant for Chinese food lover.

Hard to say what's better between their service or their food. Ever since you walk through the door everyone is super welcoming and they keep an eye on the tables 100% of the time. Now, the food is a culinary travel experience, so many different flavors combined to deliver an incredible experience. 100% Recommended.
