This is the kind of awesome place that DC used to have more of but is now sorely lacking in the age of gentrification. My crew and I had three different burger offerings last night and they all delivered! Along with killer beer and whiskey selections and one of the best/most eclectic jukeboxes around, this place is a tucked-away treasure. Go there!

Awesome neighborhood bar with a fantastic beer and whisky list and incredible food. (The burgers and fried chicken sandwiches are a must!) The place also features great live music, trivia, and even stand-up comedy nights (which, at least lately, haven't been nearly as bad as you'd think). Definitely check this place out.

I recently moved from Denver, CO to D.C. a little over a year ago. Needless to say, I've been trying out new places to eat, drink, and listen to some good rock n roll. Slash Run is hands down my new favorite place to hang out. Every time I walk in the door I'm warmly welcomed by the staff. You can easily witness how hard they work and care about their customers. The Owner is professional, down to earth, and takes pride in this establishment. I manage the School of Rock Silver Spring and am thrilled I've been able to book my students to perform a show in June. The food is outstanding, the touring bands are always delightful, and again -- I cannot stress how much I love the staff. Keep up the good work, Slash. Party on.

Went there tonight and it was packed. Hostess told us 20 minutes but we were seated within 10! Very family friendly, they had a high chair and the waitress brought a special cup with a top for our son without us having to ask. The fontina, arugula, artichoke dip was DELICIOUS, and my husband gave two thumbs up to the Morning Glory. Despite it being a burger joint, I had the tuna entree salad and the tuna was seared perfectly. They also had a kid's menu. Prices were consistent with the area, a little more than fast food but to be expected for a gourmet burger and fries Overall a great experience and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We'll be back!

Great place to grab burgers, cheap booze, and see some awesome bands. Saw a trip of post punk / synth wave / goth acts and it was a really fun and intimate (meaning small and crowded!) atmosphere to catch a show. The food nor the drinks are particularly memorable, but it's really about the overall experience.

I’m giving this place an extra star for being one of the few punk rock, alternative spaces in the city. The one meal I had here was pretty disappointing. We sat outside under the string lights, which was nice. They were out of their normal buns, and as a result only had non-vegan buns. So they served me sausages in lettuce wraps. Yes, that was as appetizing as it sounds. The meal cost over $60 for two, but felt like it should have been valued at about half of that. If I were to go back, it would most likely be for an event or drinks because it truly is a cool spot.

Places in DC can be deceiving, place doesn't look like much from outside, but inside, wow 😳 Straight out of the 80s 😆 If you like Rick n roll, this is the place for you. Slash, the owner, seemed like a really cool dude. Alexandra took really good care of us. The Sunday Funday brunch deal is awesome. $20 for all you can drink- 2 hour limit- and the Bloody's were the 💣

Friendly staff, great selection of beers and whiskey, plus amazing burgers and tunes. A great neighborhood joint worth the travel to from outside the neighborhood.

Holy heck what a cool spot. Great jukebox, really great vegetarian options, superb beer list. Went with a group and got to try the fried pickles, onion rings, the vegan wings, and the house veggie burger. Everything was incredible. My dining partners got to try the regular wings and burgers, and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Will definitely drop in again!

The burgers are good, maybe a little pricey for what you are getting. I think the biggest determining factor in if you will like the place is the atmosphere. If you like the small music venue look I think you'll like this place. On the other hand, if that's not your cup of tea it is a bit dirty looking. Overall, though, it is better than what you would usually expect from a neighborhood burger place.

This place is so special that it’s hard to not give it 5 stars. The food, drink, and ambiance are amazing, but the service has been glacially slow since it’s come out of covid times. It’s a small kitchen and they’re usually under-staffed, but it’s still noticeable whether dining in or taking out.

Tasty burgers, great services and a cute tucked away location. I got the "I'll have what she's having" which was perfectly cooked with brusselsprouts. My friends also loved their burgers and the blood orange cider was yum

I had the "south of the border" burger and it was completely amazing! I also ordered waffle fries and asked for ranch and to my delight it seemed like the ranch was homemade and fresh. The service was outstanding. Everyone at our table loved our meals.

Best rock and roll bar in the region. Excellent beer selection, all the food is excellent, and the cocktails are inspired, not pretentious. Highly recommend slash nuggs and the Barstool Rodeo. In one of the bathrooms there's a poster of Debbie Harry that maintains eye contact with you the whole time. Feels very cozy.
