This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. The atmosphere is so peaceful. The staff is wonderful, and the food is fantastic. All the great flavors of every dish I had were amazing! We went for brunch, but I can't wait to try dinner!

Had a gorgeous meal last night. Especially loved the eggplant dish because it proved how delicious eggplant can be! The Serrano ham and manchego with roasted red peppers, beets and carrots, and drinks (loved the Vermouth sour) were all beautifully prepared and shared. Really hope this neighborhood spot sticks around a long time!

We had a wonderful meal last night. We started with the fried goat cheese with honey . Delicious!! We also had the chicken thighs. Crispy and the sauce was yummy. The lamb mixed grill is lamb three ways and it three kinds of delicious. We ended with the churros and chocolate pudding. A perfect ending!

We all loved it. Everything was delicious. Lots of vegetarian options and staff seemed very knowledgeable about food sensitivities and which dishes had what. Great to have another dining option in Mount Pleasant.

Really outstanding restaurant. It's honestly the only place I've been that treated Spanish food as a cuisine instead of just "tapas". Their menu includes numerous authentic, and many inspired dishes that combine multiple flavors into a very balanced and fulfilling experience. It's easy for a restaurant to get savory, sweet, bitter, and other palettes right. It's much more difficult to combine or contrast flavors, and even more difficult to match them and bring the dish to the next level. That's what this food is, next level. It has been a consistently positive experience every time we come. The service is attentive and warm. The atmosphere, welcoming and restrained. It's a small place, but it's easy to get lost and let the hours go by. Their regular menu is reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the food you receive and their happy hour is a steal. Regardless of time or day, I'd recommend you to go and experience some of the best food, and best restaurants in the District.

This is a cozy and romantic feel while visiting Mola. It feels like you’re eating delicious Spanish food inside of an actual house. It beautiful decorated. I had the honey fried goat cheese and plums. Very rich and delicious. I enjoyed the Patatas Bravos with over easy eggs. The chili sauce was just the right addition to bring in the flavors of the fried potatoes and eggs.

One of my favorite spots in DC! Great value happy hour, extremely friendly and helpful staff, quaint interior and an awesome seasonal menu with dishes that remind me of the small modern local restaurants I frequented in Northern Spain (particularly influenced by Basque, Catalan, and Galician cuisine) They have Estrella Galicia on tap!!

Truly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had anywhere. Every item was a flavor journey and palate explosion. The owner Mickey is a wonderful host and our server Nicole was the best. Highlight was the sherry tasting experience. Please give thia place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Mola is a treasure and recently saved a virtual date night! Whether enjoyed at Mola (I look forward to returning) or at home with delivery, Mola’s food is always delicious. The owners are great, knowledgeable, and liberal with their sherry pours.

One of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining at in DC. Service was impeccable. Not only was our server Jessica extremely professional and helpful when describing dishes I had never tried but the help she received from her colleague from the bar was awesome. Constant attention to customers, without being to intrusive. The food was spectacular. Everything we tried was amazing and fresh. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only complaint I had was I was not able to try the entire menu due to my stomach not being big enough! Will definitely be back to try more of the dishes. Oh and to top it off they received a bib gourmand! I have no affiliation to this place but highly recommend the community support Mola and the staff there. Almost forgot about the wine, 10/10 would buy another bottle. You will not be disappointed!

Went for unlimited tapas, which happens every Monday. I loved how organically the (very delicious) food came out to the buffet. The server/bartender was so friendly and funny and helpful. It felt like being at a friend's home. There was also live music! This was a great value and I highly recommend it.

Loved everything about this place. The decor is chic and charming, the menu is creative and well-balanced with lots of vegetarian options, and the service is excellent. We ordered four dishes, with help from the servers, and the timing and order of service were very thoughtful. The cauliflower, spinach ends, and eggplant were amazing, and the mackerel was less so but still tasty. I look forward to returning soon to try other menu items!

Intimate dining spot - great for a date. Nice decor and adequate light. Cocktails were good and well presented. The flamenquins were absolutely fantastic. The food was perfectly done, well proportioned and it was really fun to try it all and try something a little different. Highly recommend the eggplant dish - it's what the fish in fish and chips wishes it could be - Amazing! And the onions/pepper with it perfectly complemented it.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant. Appetizers are classic Spanish tapas. Unlimited mimosas means just that. Ate brunch there and they featured egg dishes with a nice Spanish edge to them. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. My Pleasant needs more places on this.

Very cute space ideal for a 2 or 3 people date ... Mostly ideal for romantic dates. They have a great happy hour and small bites options. But also, full entre meals. The staff is very friendly and most of the local Mt pleasant, Columbia heights and Park view neighborhood folks go there to unwind. The music is soft and the ambiance is mold and happy.

Love this small neighborhood spot! I'm a huge fan of their happy hour; tons of food options and wine offerings are above average. I usually sit at the bar but this is a great spot for a dinner date as well. Service is always friendly and attentive.

Went here twice while staying in DC. It's small and very quaint. Servers are very sweet but very slow. And it's not a huge menu, so if you aren't up for what they specifically have..you won't be satisfied. I left feeling content, but then my belly rumbles an hour after I ate. Hmm. Drinks are ok, but great wine selection. Not sure I'd go back, but it was definitely not a bad meal. Just not my style, too slow and not enough options regarding food.

This has become my neighborhood spot. It's very tranquil (you can actually have conversations), good happy hour, nice food, and all the people who work here have been so friendly and unpretentious. Love that they do Thursday specials on women-owned wines. All in all, a great lil place

I've gone to Mola for dinner a few times with friends, and we've always been pleased with the service, atmosphere and food. Per D.C. standard, we ordered a handful of small plates and shared. I'd suggest going with four people. Friends and I have also gone to Mola's happy hours somewhat regularly and are always pleased with the offerings. The space is adorable but the bar can fill up quickly if you're going with more than one or two other people.

Anyone who rates this less than 5 stars is dumb or did not order the fried goat cheese. This place is nothing short of amazing. All of the food and drink are some of the best we have had in DC, and the service was incredible. Our waiter Uri was the friendliest, most honest waiter we have had in a while. Will 100% be coming back.

Fantastic Spanish food in a small row house restaurant. Reserve in advance. Super cocktails. Another fine establishment (Purple Patch - Filipino food) next door has a lively basement bar if you want a drink after. Lots of other bars and restaurants in neighborhood.
