Stopped by for happy hour and really enjoyed my time here. The drinks were great and plentiful - many options to choose from. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and seem to fill up pretty fast so it's good to make a reservation if you can. I believe there is a 90 minute time limit but they aren't to strict on this unless it's pretty packed.
We ordered fries, mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, a burger and the buffalo chicken dip. The food overall was pretty good, no stand outs but good and not terribly expensive for DC. Will have to come back and try the popular chicken every one talks about.
The drinks were really good and they have an extensive menu. The happy hour special and options for it are great as well. I had the old fashion on the happy hour menu and it was solid. Off of the happy hour the highlight for me was the griselda blanco. Will definitely be back for that!
Overall great experience here and will definitely be back to try more things off the menu and go back for my drink favs.
Has to be one of my favorite spots in DC. The best fried chicken and cocktails in my opinion and ok top of that, it’s incredibly affordable compared to some of the other bars in the city. 10/10 recommend this spot.

Their chicken sandwich definitely lives up to the hype! A friend told me about their spicy chicken sandwich but never mentioned how good their drinks or fries were. The food is just stunning and the drinks are really unique. While on the higher end of my budget for dinner, it’s worth it at this spot.
Every drink on the Service Bar menu is delicious! I’m unfortunately picky about mixed drinks, so it’s an achievement if I can find even one drink I like let alone each one I tried: Mango Sticky Rice, Griselda Blanco, and a Margarita all tasted great and came in distinct, cute cups. The fried chicken and mozzarella balls were a perfect way to round out a great night with friends. Patio and interior have plenty of space if you arrive early/make a reservation. Super affordable, and waitstaff are great, too. Excited to come back!
10 stars if I could. I've always loved this place, but tonight bartender Luke told me and my friend that he likes to take care of one check every holiday season and he decided it would be us. 6 cocktails and some fries. Incredible service. Tell all your friends.

Really dope spot. Tons of character, and characters. Provocative cocktails, tempting bites. Great decor and art. Georgeous patio. Great service. It's got all the U street vibes.
Been here a couple of times now, for drinks first then dinner and drinks. Both times were great.
We pretty much ate everything on the menu, Nashville Hot wings, crab macaroni and cheese, crab dip, regular macaroni and cheese, and of course the fried chicken. Everything was pretty epic, but the standouts were definitely the fried chicken and crab dip.
Drinks here are phenomenal. Creative, well balanced, and well crafted. They have one for every palate -and every pallette.
Small bar with great food and drinks. Fried chicken sandwiches are stacked and cooked perfectly with seasons. Drinks menu are listed from light to strong. I do wish the food options was more but overall happy with the pick! Drinks absolutely great! Your bill will add up however, it was a bit pricey but overall great food. The bar is a bit small but they have outdoor eating areas as well.
This is a lively bar with a thoughtful cocktail menu and a small-ish but mighty food menu. The drinks are well made and presented in fun ways with appropriate drinkware. The food is very good, some items outstanding even. I suggest the charred carrots as a must have. But what really makes this location are the friendly and engaging staff members. It seems like everyone from servers to kitchen staff all take pride in their part of the work and seem to enjoy sharing that with patrons. Service like that is what keeps me coming back!
Awesome location with a cool vibe. They have an enormous selection of cocktails and delicious food. Make sure to try their spicy fried chicken sandwich which is very juicy and crispy. If you plan on visiting make sure to bring proof of vaccination. The prices are reasonable for the area and the service was decent! I will visit service bar again!
Amazing drinks, definitely worthy of their Perrier top-50 status. While cocktails were moderately expensive ($12-18 each), they were inventive, unique, smooth, and flavorful. The food was standard but tasty and very reasonably priced. Even on a hot day, the reservation to be on the relaxed patio is worth it compared to the extremely loud indoor seating.
Food and drinks were really nice. They Yaypi Kusuma cocktail was great for Instagram but could be better.
The food was just on point. Can't wait to return.
Top 50 bar in the world with good reason. I’ve been to a lot of the Top 50 bars from Cartagena to New York to Barcelona. This one is definitely unique by the top notch grub coming from the kitchen. You can’t come here and not get the fried bird. Super moist and extremely crunchy. Craft cocktails are on par with what you’d expect from a top 50 joint as well.
On the search for the best Fried Chicken Sandwich in the DMV my team and I came across Service Bar. I highly recommend this restaurant. They are known for their cocktails but this sandwich was devine. Solid portion as well (fries come separately). I would put them in my top 5 (and this was our 21 place). Our server, Cullen, was extremely informative and accommodating. I will be back.

Epic spot. Went for friend's birthday. The bar looked just like any other casual DC bar.
But once you order your first drink, you quickly realize this is one of the best cocktail bars in DC. Their drinks are phenomenal: liquid nitrogen, fresh ingredients, top tier alcohol, and amazingly talented bartenders.
On that note, the bartenders were absolutely awesome lads! Loved chatting with them. They even gave us free shots for our friend's bday. Looking forward to next time guys!
