They made a Mistake yesterday but they typically are well staffed and the food is great. Spot that I love to frequent. They also reached out and personally corrected the mistake which means a lot to me. You will not be disappointed.
My wife and I were in the district for the first time and did not have transportation. We walked from our airBNB to go to one restaurant, but they were closed, so, as we were walking, we saw this Sol Mexican restaurant and thought, let's try it.
We were very pleased. The portions are very good, and my wife was able to eat hers for 2 days. I'm glad we stopped in.
This spot is good and on a steady up and becoming H st. If you are from the DMV you know H st. Came along way. The food was at good proportion sizes. It was tasty with veggie and meat options. It's in DC so pay to park in the street. Those parking patrollers are out there and ready to give tickets. But enjoy yourself out there. The restaurant gives good drinks as well. There are also good spots next to it. Enjoy it.
This is our absolute favorite place to eat every week. It is a part of our routine and we always love the food, drinks and service. Everyone is so nice and they do such a great job creating our food into amazing masterpieces. The nachos are my favorite, and my partner loves the burritos. Margaritas they make are also amazing! We look forward to coming here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

Sol is what chipotle aspires to be! Lol. No, seriously.. it is great and cheap Mexican food. I have been there a few times by now and have tried different dishes such a tacos, burritos and bowls. This time around I have chicken nachos and my bf ordered chicken quesadilla. They were both on point but I will say their guacamole is overpriced. They also had District Daiquiri —spiked slushees. They were good but super weak. Overall the experience was 8/10
The Food is amazing!!! Always fresh & flavorful. My kid loves the quesadillas. The staff is not very friendly tho, their attitudes are not very welcoming but since it’s a take out spot, just ignore them lol highly recommend if you’re near H street & looking for Mexican
Got the chimichanga as and was SO good! Chilled vibe. They make your food in front of you and and you can either take it to a table or dine out. Not rushed to finish/leave.
Sol has a friendly environment with great staff. I always come here to get a burrito or bowl. Their meals are very comforting as well as affordable. There are plenty of rewards for loyal customers.
Authentic and flavorful. Pick your combinations. I recommend the pork/carnitas for the meat-sooo good.
The food here is ok. I get the burrito. The chicken was alright, but you really can’t beat the size of it. I prefer chipotle for taste. However, if I want a lot of food, I’ll come here.
My boyfriend love’s this place so much. He think it’s better thank chipotle.
The best Fish Tacos around the DMV! Freshly buttermilk battered & fried when U order. Their Chicken bowl is pretty good too. New favorite spot!
Best spot on H Street for quality food that's super cheap. Taco Tuesday is great, $2 dollar tacos! and everything is made in house from scratch. Anytime i can get three steak tacos prepared how I want for under $10 bucks is a good thing.
