I ended up eating at Bistro Bistro three times during two visits to D.C. in three weeks. Service was extremely friendly, though not speedy, and the food was excellent. The menu is a mix of French and Italian dishes. Mussels Bistro Bistro were delicious and the crusty rolls were perfect for sopping up the broth. Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon - perfect. On the third visit I brought a group of 12 and everyone agreed that the food was worth the wait.
Absolutely delicious! And there are some tasty vegan/vegetarian options. We were visiting the D.C. area and stumbled upon this bistro on our walk back from viewing the monuments. It was lunch time, so I got the portobello sandwich and it was so good! My boyfriend got manicotti and it was also very tasty, lots of authentic flavor. Great serving sizes too, especially for the prices, and amazing service from the friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area.
Visited for the 1st time in July. Loved the food and reasonable prices. Visiting the city again with friends, I suggested Bistro Bistro. We were pleased. Again good food. The smooth jazz was perfect for listening and dining. The chef came out to greet us. At the end of the night our server remembered me from my 1st visit (no I'm not remarkable). Overall, when I next travel down 95 I will again stop here.
The best night!!! Highly recommend the food was delicious and they really took care of us
The manager was so nice. We were celebrating a birthday and he was so kind to us. We had a t-bone steak, crab quiche and eggs and potatoes. The steak was tender, the eggs were fluffy and the crab quiche was delicious and pipping hot. The mimosas was a nice touch to our afternoon stroll. It set the mood for a great afternoon. It was a special part of our trip to DC. We'll be back!
Excellent Service. Food was hot, presented well. We had Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan While sitting in the window, watched a Presidential Motorcade come by the front of the restaurant. Brought fresh, hot bread and cold butter as soon our drinks arrived. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced. Large portions.
5 Stars tonight with Aaron Myers at the Jazz mike and bring in' 'em I'm off the street! Oh, and the Bomba dessert was just the thing!
Very friendly service at lunch time. Atmosphere was a little awkward, but the servers were very attentive. My water glass was never empty! Had a chicken sandwich and fries which were both tasty.
First time here I had lobster over linguini for $21 and it was excellent and my friend had the steak and the steak was enough for 2 or 3 people. The strip steak was $25 and we split an appetizer of mussels in red sauce but they brought them in garlic wine sauce in error but corrected it without question when we told the waiter and were very apologetic.
Went to the restaurant last Easter (2015) and had the Brunch. Took a little while to get seated - Kind of expected because of everyone going out. Service was good and the food was excellent - Amazing variety of foods. Drove from Haymarket, Va. with relatives and the drive was well worth it. Looking forward to eating the Sunday Brunch there again soon.
Just shared a fantastic meal for two! Service was attentive, polite and friendly. The meal was of a very high quality and the environment too very good. Pity we are only visiting Washington or this could be a regular thing. Highly recommend...Well done guys Xxx
BEST Mediterranean restaurant in the DC area. Hands down!!! I surprised my husband with a big birthday party at Bistro Bistro. I was extremely happy with the outstanding food/service and time my family and I had. I recommend this place for everyone who enjoys trying all kinds of different food!
Shared a catered dinner. There were about 5 dishes to select from. All looked good. The chicken cordon bleu was excellent. The waiter helped with the dessert choices and it was excellent. Would definitely return.
Oh my gosh. The best food we've had on the island! Great service- great music, great with the kids. Food done exceptionally. Get the French Onion Soup and the Crab Cake for starters.
Was Awesome! We Loved Everything about it,decor, music, menu, service was the best. Was Shocked to read the negative reviews, didn't see or experience any of those claims.Even though the restaurant filled up all at one time with diners from a conference,Service never suffered nor the food coming from the kitchen.Highly recommend a visit!
My 12 year old son's gorgonzola steak was the best I have ever had! I had linguini with shrimp, squid, clams, and mussels. It was also very good. I would come back here....next time I will try the linguini and lobster. Or I may be lured to get the gorgonzola steak. Either way, can't go wrong.
Went there to celebrate a late Valentine's Day dinner. Food was amazingly good, I ordered mussels as appetizers and veal for dinner. Better service would love get them a 5 star review
Great food! Friendly and attentive wait staff. Sat out front facing street, had a lovely wide-open window, and it was very entertaining watching people pass by.
I am in a wheelchair and was afraid that I couldn't enter the restaurant and would need to eat outside. A gentleman met me at the door and pulled a ramp out to help me enter. Then I had the best lasagna I've ever had!
