While this place may not be the be all end all of French restaurants in DC, it will give you the experience. Vintage wine posters? Check. Escargots? Check. Baguette? You bet! Get some snails with moule frites or coq au vin and finish it off with a digestif and crème brulee. My particular favorite here is the steak tartare. The service is great even for the very tiny space the restaurant occupies. The prices won't guillotine your wallet either.
I've been to brunch wayyyy too many times to count. Small space, but they magically always seem to have seating.
Any meal with a side salad is worth it! I don't know what the dressing is, but I could use it to water my plants and I imagine they'd grow into magic bean stalks.
Order a side of french fries too!
Bartender didn't know the cheeses on the cheese plate, didn't know the cut of meat in the signature steak frites, nor the cheese in the au gratin. However, the food is the saving grace and this is a must eat venue. Bravo!
I love this place for great french bistro fare that is fresh, authentic and delicious! The staff is also excellent and more than what is typical in DC. The price point is also great.
Kitchen stays open later than most places (i believe midnight) and it's delicious. Sit at the bar for good people watching!
Such a cute little bistro. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was great!
Great happy hour specials. $15 mussels, frites, and beer! Can't beat that
One if not the best of DC's I French Bistro.
Consistently good, reasonable prices, yummy food
