Nice place! Has good food options, nachos, wings, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich was awesome. I got a picture of some food, but I couldn't get my camera phone to get a picture of the BBQ pulled pork before my mouth forced me to devour it.
Awesome, fun Trivia on Wednesday night at 7:30 PM.
Located at a convenient location! It’s a two floor restaurant bar that has a great variation in their menu and great atmosphere! Food and drinks are very affordable. Staff is friendly! I have organized several events here and it’s my number one place to do private events. Parking is easy to find and there is enough street lights that make it even safest.
Nice atmosphere in this bar. The waiter and waitress are really nice and very helpful. The food was ok as well.
Good atmosphere. Food is typical for a bar; not the best but will satisfy. Staff is friendly. Happy hour specials are good, and Monday and Thursdays are all day happy hour. They have trivia night on Wednesdays; if you're not planning to participate it's best to get seating outside as it's very difficult to have a conversation with the trivia host on loudspeakers. Their upstairs is closed most of the time, but there are two additional outside areas that are semi-private that's great for medium-large groups. Overall it's a great neighborhood bar if you live in the area, though it's not a place I would go out of my way to go to.
BachataBrunch Sundays, cheap drinks and beautiful woman eager to dance and have great conversation, have an outside section for smoking right outside on the back balcony!!!
Interesting atmosphere that was relaxed. Went to Geeks Who Drink on Wednesday night I came late but watched other people have a lot of fun with the trivia. Service is so friendly and happy hour prices are good (all day on Thursday). Will be coming back. I would give like 4.5stars cuz the place died after the trivia was over and they close relatively early
I don't have cable, so I went there to see the last two games of the NLCS. They have two enormous screens at the ends, five good-sized screens over the bar, and three more on the other side. Nice menu, including vegetarian options (I'm not a drinker, so I can't comment on the beverage menu, except to say that the root beer float was delicious). On Tuesday the Democratic debate was also on, so the big screen at one end, plus the middle screen over the bar, were tuned to the debate and included text of what was being said. Service was friendly and attentive. Just one criticism: on Monday the fries were lukewarm, and on Tuesday the decaf was lukewarm. Both times I sent them back for warming or a fresh hot cup.
It was my first time visiting this bar, and I was with a group that had reserved the upstairs bar. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and extremely professional, all of which enhanced my visit. The menu is quite extensive and varied, and the lime chicken dish I ordered was very tasty and very fresh. I hope to visit this bar again. You should visit too.
First time coming to this location! Came for Bachta Brunch this past Sunday. Great space with a second level. Very aesthetically pleasing. A bit on the pricey side, but what can I say it's DC haha One problem I had was that I ordered a blue monkey cocktail, and the bar tender replied, "I have no idea how to make that." She tried anyway, and it was pretty good, but if you put something on a menu, you should definitely make sure that your bar tenders know how to make it.
Friendly staff, extremely accomodating. A fun place to go for happy hour and dinner is pretty good too! Especially excellent for large groups. They have a large dining floor and entire upstairs that you can rent out.
Great service and vibe. Went here for a large event and the upstairs area was great. The party platters were varied but just wished they had some healthier choices such as vegetable dishes.
Good food and drinks for happy hour. The mac and cheese notes are amazing, so is the buffalo chicken dip. Thebfeinks were also of food quality! I had a nice buzz after 2 drinks.
Always great for a happy hour. Student Veterans at American University has hosted multiple group happy hours here. The fried pickles and sweet potato fries are a favorite.
Attended a private party on their second floor. Had our own bartender. Good drinks and food, and dancing with some Cuban music which my host provided. Very nice venue for such a party.
The food and drinks are awesome. The breakfast skillet is ok I would rather have the sauce and bread together than the whole dish together. They need better A/C.
