I have to assume family run. Very unassuming nice couple. Always suggest the best deals. I went for the slice of pizza and a soda for three bucks for lunch. I came back for the same, but have tried other (good) sandwiches since. Solid burger! Corner neighborhood pizza stop not found much in DC any more.
The space was nice and clean. Ordered 2 pepperoni pizza by the slice and man was it so good.
This place has some delicious food. My family of 4 ordered a Lamb & Beef Gyro, a Chicken Gyro, a Chicken Cheesesteak, a 16" pizza made 1/2 & 1/2, & a couple of cannolis.
We didn't have to wait long for our food, all of the food was made fresh right before our eyes, & all of it was outstanding. The best part for me is that I get to eat pepperoni, ham, & bacon because it does not have pork! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 YaY!! The pizza was mouthwatering delicious. OMG.
The food is so good we went 2 days in a row. So if you're looking for some great food made fresh, look no further. Rome's Pizza & Subs is where you need to be headed.
This couple owned restaurant is a hidden gem! I come here from out of town here and there and am always pleased by their Hospitality (and patience) and the Quality of their food.
Also, this is one of the few places I know that have both Beef pepperoni and sausage. For those who don't eat pork but love pizza, this place is it!
Ordered for the first time and was very glad we did. Had a delicious medium pizza: tasty crust and a good amount of toppings - red sauce is especially tasty! Pizza was ready early but would have been worth the wait even if it wasn’t!
Without a doubt, the best place to get freshly made food in Northwest DC. The price, the friendly service from the owners, and the simplicity of the atmosphere are unbeatable. Parking can be a slight challenge, but that’s true of most places in this area. However, finding a place to park is not insurmountable.
Support this Local business. They are a breath of fresh air in this corporate world, and have the menu, and skills to back it up.
I've been here a few times and each time it is the same, they treat you like a good friend, and provide an excellent service, and excellent food.
Ben and Parvin (owners), are the best! Classic family low key dining at its finest! Thank you for great comfort food and honest friendly service with a smile. Keep up the great work.
I went there late night Saturday, I was out with my two dogs for a long walk and wanted to grab a bite before heading home. The owners were super friendly, the food was good, typical, the slices are very large and they are generous with the toppings, reasonably priced. The wait time was longer than average for a pizza, but, everything was made fresh to order, def a must try and I will be going back.
I don't go out to eat much but I walk past this place everyday. I see the two lovely workers working so hard and I honestly don't think they take days off. There is close competition that people may choose because of restaurant style convenience but I would encourage you to order here if you want something real and delicious and in a more Togo like fashion. Their pizza is amazing, probably one of the best places I've tried in years! I also tried the garlic bread which was delicious. The two workers, which I'm assuming are the owners, are very friendly and I was so happy to finally stop in and eat.
Their website isn't the best but it gets the job done. They have a nice menu board in the store and grab and go brochures which is nice.
I look forward to more delicious meals to come!
The best pizza I have had outside of Italy. It is a small shop that is run and serviced by owners, a very nice couple. They make adjustments to make pizza how you want it. It was just perfect.
Unbelievably, we had a cake after pizza and the cake was really good. There is even a coffee machine so you can order coffee.
The place is small but clean and is very nice. We walked passing this cafe so many times. Now I know, and will be back soon.
We dined in and also ordered pizza to take home. Everything was wonderful.
Great hard working honest people who make good food. I witnessed neighborhood customers walking past overpriced, overcharged Pete’s to enjoy Rome. I love locals supporting locals. I will return.
The pizza in this mom & pop parlor is more expensive than in chain pizza parlors but the pizza is handmade while you wait. No frozen stuff here. The owners are willing to personalize your order. They added eggplant to ours, and it was delicious.
The best pizza around. We come all the way from Berwyn (Chicago) to visit family in the area. Hands down one of the best tasting pizza's around. The owners are also very nice and always great to us.
Veggie Pizza & Salad after fire works is a Fourth of July tradition for our family ! The food is outstanding. The service is wonderful and the staff are the kindest people.
Very kind service, open late night in a party of town where they're are few options. Outside tables and port pizza was ready in 10 minutes. Very reasonable prices and tasty food. We had the Hawaiian pizza, and it was great!
Great place with great owners!! Food is fresh and they care a lot about their customers.
Stayed at the Embassy suites a few blocks away and I feel extremely lucky to have bumped into this gem one late night after noticing everything around here was closed (it was around 11ish/12am). We ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and chicken cheese steak and wow!!! It was flavorful, fresh and light just what we needed. Loved the owners they’re an older couple who are extremely nice. Price is affordable and we love supporting local mom and pops when traveling.
We loved it so much we went back a few days later for lunch.
If you’re second guessing it let this be your sign to grab some food from this gem!
